We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The AI capabilities of Mist Wireless are superior to other OEMs.""Overall, we've been very pleased with the performance.""The simplicity is great.""The solution is pretty generic and easy to use.""The most valuable feature of the solution is Marvis, the AI-driven network management system.""The most valuable feature of Juniper Mist is the Virtual Network Assistant, powered by artificial intelligence.""The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability to troubleshoot ports on the network. Additionally, when there is an update on the APs they are able to reboot quickly reducing downtime. Other solutions have a longer downtime when updates are done.""With Mist, every Wednesday they roll out new features."

"The coverage Aruba provides across the physical area is much better. Most probably because of the new technology, the 4x4 antenna, and everything around it. It's just a much better, easier to use, and easier to manage product.""The solution has fast deployment and easy setup. There is no security PIN for this account.""It's super user-friendly.""The product is easy to set up, providing value for time since it is very quick.""I would rate the stability of this solution a ten out of ten.""Its technical support is excellent.""The product is scalable. It has 20 users.""The app and the provisioning are the best features of the product. It was really impressive that I was able to just provision it remotely. I didn't have to be on-site with my friend, and we were just able to get everything up and operational. So, the app is great. It sends me notifications when things are down, and it tells me how everything is doing."

"The solution's roaming feature is very nice. When you move to another place it automatically changes the access point. It's one of the most valuable features.""The solution offers very good value for money.""It has all of the features that we need.""We can use an access point to broadcast multiple SSIDs, assign dynamic VLANs, and configure dynamic access control lists (ACLs).""The most valuable thing about Huawei Wireless is that it is one of the cheapest WiFi 6 systems. Its price is very nice. The other WiFi systems cost about 15% more.""Installation is easy.""That would be more of engineering at this point. I'm from more of the business side. It's pretty much doing the standard installations with portal integrations and integrations with the Mac.""At the moment, I only have experience with the on-premise deployment of Huawei Wireless, but the cloud solution looks good on paper. It looks perfect. I can say that Huawei's cybersecurity is very good, stable, and works for long periods. My company has four devices running uptime for more than four years without stopping. I also like that the support for Huawei Wireless is swift, and support does precisely what you require, at least from the point of view of the technical engineer who communicated with Huawei support, as I'm more of a technical sales guy. Good technical support is vital to my company, partners, and customers. My company had this ongoing project with an ISP provider in Bulgaria that bought some routers. Still, the existing equipment was a completely different brand, so this provider wanted to migrate to Huawei Wireless and wanted help while migrating the existing infrastructure to Huawei, so the technical engineer assigned to raise the ticket with Huawei for checking and setting parameters correctly provided feedback about Huawei technical support being good quality-wise and TAT-wise. The technical engineer was also Cisco-certified and Juniper-certified and was not experienced with Huawei equipment. Still, he did mention that the Huawei Wireless router interface was straightforward, and even a person who's new to it would find it easy to configure. Huawei Wireless is user-friendly, which is another pro of the solution. It's easy to manage, and even the program language setting can be done with fewer commands than Juniper and Cisco equipment. Some of the features in Juniper need an external program, and the same features can be found in Huawei Wireless built-in, which I find remarkable."

Cons
"Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) could improve if the MIST platform had a built-in master key. This would be an advantage.""Improvement is needed in the user-friendliness of Juniper Mist, particularly in enhancing the interaction with AI features.""Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points’ support services need improvement.""The pricing should be made cheaper.""The pricing is very high in the Indian market.""Juniper Wireless AP can improve by continually improving its reporting and integration with other systems.""It would be helpful to have even stronger security features to help protect against interference from other nearby access points that aren't part of our network.""If you want to do more specific stuff, it's a bit limited."

More Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points Cons →

"The tool's pricing is not good.""It is scalable to a certain degree but not nearly as scalable and robust as your enterprise-grade solutions.""The tool is priced high.""When there are a lot of people connected, especially during video streaming demonstrations, the connection can get a bit choppy.""Software-wise, I would like to have a way of moving APs from site to site and wish there would be a way to add more APs to one site. I know the limit is 25 APs per site and I wish there were more.""The product's machine or equipment can cater to around 20 connections and cannot go beyond 50 simultaneous connections, because of which I think the tool's scalability is limited.""It is suitable for smaller organizations, but it may not be the best choice for large enterprises.""I believe there's room for improvement in the validation process, especially for customers facing compliance issues when managing access points from the cloud. It would be beneficial if the access points could also be managed from an on-premises controller. Regarding additional features, customers express interest in enhancing the controller, specifically improving the capability to manage a higher number of access points from the same controller. This feature is crucial for better scalability. Another feature that customers would appreciate is the ability to increase the number of access points. However, the current process for obtaining this permission can be time-consuming, and customers would like to see improvements in this regard."

More Aruba Instant On Access Points Cons →

"Price is one of the major problems of the solution, and because of this, our company's customers want to migrate to some other product from Huawei.""They should actually first test the equipment thoroughly and then launch it. Sometimes, things come out too soon, before they are ready.""The speed could be a bit better.""The scalability could be a bit better.""This solution has issues with bugs and instability.""The solution could be easier to use.""Support could be a bit faster.""Improving the visibility, control offered, and cloud management would all be very helpful. Also how you can monetize the information you get from Wi-Fi controllers should be improved."

The cost of the solution includes everything we need to manage and upgrade our Wi-Fi network, including the mobile management app. Having the licensing and all the functionality built into the base price of the product is really important for me. • "We don't have any control on the pricing. This comes from Huawei in India. Pricing-wise, Huawei is very aggressive and competitive if you compare them to competitors, like Cisco, Aruba, and Ruckus. The Indian Huawei team tells us, "Just pick up the order and design the infrastructure. If there are any pricing challenge, we'll work on that and we will try to match things 100 percent.""
  • "Huawei comes at a cheaper price than competitors like Cisco and Aruba."
  • "It is not monthly. It is a kind of perpetual licensing. We pay once depending on the kind of services we need to deliver. There are no licensing fees."
  • "Its price is very good. This wireless system totally costs about 30,000 euros, and some of the other solutions cost about 45,000 euros. It is a difference of 15,000 euros, which is quite a lot of money."
  • "The price is good for the solution and there is a license required."
  • "It is very cost-effective."
  • "Extras come with a surcharge."
