"The solution is very easy to work with. This is its most valuable feature. They also did a good job surrounding how you configure the devices.""The multicast feature is useful for us.""Cisco IOS SSL VPN is reasonably priced, and its technology is flexible.""Stability-wise, it is a very good solution.""It is stable.""With Cisco IOS SSL VPN, you can access your corporate data safely and securely.""I like to work with the CMD command line because it's easy and it doesn't take very long to configure.""The solution's technical support is very good."

Cons
"There must be a more easy-to-use GUI."

More Netgate TNSR Cons →

"Our difficulty with Aruba is that the product and the license are two different items. So, if we are adding an access point, we have to pay for two items. We have to pay to add the access point in the controller and we have to pay for the license.""The solution is costly for medium-sized companies.""The remote access point coverage should be bigger than it is now.""It would help if the remote APs had some kind of SoHo environment with built-in firewall features. That way it could connect directly in a client-to-site type of environment, or a site-to-site VPN environment. That way users could have a complete office setup without coming to the private cloud.""There are some issues, like the VLAN capabilities and support for routing between two VMs.""I use the controller when using Aruba Remote Access Points, particularly during configuration. Hence, room for improvement in Aruba Remote Access Points is for its web UI to be easier to control.""It could have better monitoring features.""Its scalability capabilities should be improved."

More Aruba Remote Access Points Cons →

"The performance could be improved.""It would be helpful if Cisco IOS SSL VPN could help us set up devices on our iPads and phones.""In addition to Cisco, we work with other solutions on behalf of our customers, such as Fortinet for FortiGate, but this latter solution can achieve the same results at a lower price.""The company sets the policies for the default location, and destination, which the VPN connects. If there is a problem with one of those locations, which happens sometimes when I travel I need to have an option to select a different available location. Currently, I am unable to see that from a user's point of view.""I think the administration can be improved to include web interfaces.""The solution's graphical user interface is not very user-friendly.""The administration should be improved.""The flexibility of configurations could be improved."

emote APs connect to a controllerusing Extended Authentication and Internet Protocol Security (XAuth/IPSec). AP control and 802.11 data traffic are carried through this tunnel. Secure Remote Access Point Service extends the corporate office to the remote site. Remote users can use the same features as corporate office users. For example, voice over IP (VoIP) applications can be extended to remote sites while the servers and the PBX remain secure in the corporate office.

Secure Remote Access Point Service can also be used to secure control traffic between an AP and the controllerin a corporate environment. In this case, both the AP and controllerare in the company’s private address space.

Cisco SSL VPN solutions help you easily and securely extend the network to users who have access to the Internet and a web browser. You can customize access and extend the reach of your corporate network to individuals based on their roles, including teleworker contractors and business partners.
