Because the processes that have been used to get a handle on the attackers are much better than other competitors""We have FortiEDR installed on all our systems. This protects them from any threats.""I get alerts when scripts are detected in the environment.""Having all monitoring, response, tracking, and mitigation tools in one dashboard provides our analysts and SOC team with a comprehensive view at a glance.""The console is easy to read. "Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus is highly stable.""It never fails. Bitdefender always catches all of the viruses that have been detected on customer sites.""The best thing about Bitdefender is that it has got top-notch features and it is not tied to specific countries like some other antivirus tools.""I find Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus to be a pretty good solution for the mid-level market, specifically for organizations with up to two hundred fifty users. I like that it is an averagely priced solution. It also has a straightforward installation that can be completed within three to five minutes. Its technical support is also good enough.""The product is easy to use."

"The initial setup was straightforward.""The most valuable features in CrowdStrike Falcon are the full EDR with antivirus, hunting, reporting, and RTR remote control.""There are two things which customers really like about CrowdStrike. If they buy managed services from CrowdStrike, it offers them detection of security issues in one minute. If you buy their professional services, they offer insurance where you can claim up to $5 million if there's a breach. This is a huge upsell for customers.""Overall, what I found most valuable in CrowdStrike Falcon is its good mechanism. It also has a good reporting feature. CrowdStrike Falcon is an invaluable tool because, through it, you can take quick action, for example, when an OS is missing specific patches.""The Protect functionality on the laptops provides great visibility into what's occurring, and the cloud management of the platform is what we needed.""The threat intelligence is the most valuable feature.""CrowdStrike Falcon is a very light solution. It does not use too much processor or RAM.""Because it is security product and acts like an AIML smart product, not merely based on daily/weekly updates and signatures."

Cons
"Making the portal mobile friendly would be helpful when I am out of office.""There's room for improvement in the quick response time and technical support for integration issues, especially when dealing with multiple vendors.""Once, we had an event that was locked and blocked, but information about it came to us two or three days later.""Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation.""We'd like to see more one-to-one product presentations for the distribution channels.""The solution is not user-friendly.""ZTNA can improve latency.""The solution is not stable."

More Fortinet FortiEDR Cons →

"The solution must improve its management features.""The solution seems to be pretty amateur for an EDR solution, and it should be more in sync in terms of features, with solutions such as FireEye and SentinelOne.""Adding a feature like Data Loss Prevention would be beneficial.""The mobile version needs improvement."

More Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus Cons →

"The support for different OS versions needs improvement because sometimes due to business conditions, updating our OS is impossible.""Some of Falcon's features are a bit pricey.""We'd like to see more integration capabilities.""The detection time has room for improvement.""The management of the solution could improve.""On the firewall management side, there should be more granularity. There should also be more granularity for device control. Everything else is brilliant.""This solution could be improved with greater scope for admins to make changes to the solution.""There is room for improvement in managing multiple customer IDs."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below are some reviews and helpful feedback written by Fortinet FortiEDR users.

An Owner at a security firm says, "The features that I have found most valuable are the ability to customize it and to reduce its size. It lets you run in a very small window in terms of memory and resources on legacy cash registers. The customer has literally about 800 cash registers. That was the use case for Fortinet FortiEDR - to get that down into a tiny space. The only way to do that was to use this product because it had that ability to unbundle services that were a surplus.”

Chandan M., Chief Technical Officer at Provision Technologies LLP, mentions, “The ease of deployment and configuration is valuable. It's very easy compared to other vendors like Sophos. Sophos' configuration is complex. Fortinet is a lot easier to understand. You don't need a lot of admin knowledge to do the configuration.” He also adds, “The security is also very good and the firewall response is good.”

Harpreet S., Information Technology Support Specialist at Chemtrade Logistics, explains, "It notifies us if there's any suspicious file on any PC. If any execution or similar kind of thing is happening, it just alerts us. It doesn't only alert. It also blocks the execution until we allow it. We check whether the execution is legitimate or not, and then approve it or keep it blocked. This gives us a little bit of control over this mechanism. Fortinet FortiEDR is also very straightforward and easy to maintain."

DeAndre V., Senior Network Administrator at a financial services firm, states, “The dashboard is easy to follow and use. The deployment and uninstalling were easy. I like the detailed information about the path of a file that might be suspicious. Being able to check that out was easy to follow. Exceptions are easy to create and the interface is easy to follow with a nice appearance.

GravityZone Ultra Plus extends the endpoint-based threat detection capabilities of a traditional EDR by incorporating network incidents (XDR) to successfully counter advanced threats no matter where they emerge in the infrastructure: on the Endpoints, in the Network or in the Cloud.

CrowdStrike Falcon offers advanced threat detection, real-time visibility, easy interface, and responsive customer support. It enhances workflow and efficiency, promotes collaboration, streamlines processes, and boosts productivity. With features like incident response options, customizable alerts, and proactive threat hunting, it helps protect organizations from malware and ransomware attacks.
