Find out in this report how the two Intrusion Detection and Prevention Software (IDPS) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."This is a very stable product."
"The Check Point IPS module allows me granularity in creating rules."
"Its event analysis and centralization features are very important for any organization."
"The product's initial setup is easy."
"Check Point helps reduce downtime and costs associated with detected cyberattacks and can block those threats to ensure protection from any significant damage that may be caused within the organization."
"Check Point is one of the best security brands worldwide."
"We are able to define our own rules for detection."
"There's an automatic update after every 2 hours which makes sure that the database is up to date and providing zero-day vulnerability protection."
"Vision One is versatile and can be integrated with many SIEMs. You're not limited to only one SIEM, such as Microsoft Sentinel. The API integrations are seamless, and we have all the documentation needed to integrate Vision One via API."
"The stability is quite good."
"The most valuable features are intrusion prevention and anti-malware capabilities."
"The product helps us understand our environment better."
"The perfect package for all security platforms, providing more than any other endpoint solution."
"The storage and computing features are valuable."
"I really like Trend Vision One - Cloud Security's dashboard."
"The tech support is excellent. They really know their products. They also know a lot of about the integrations between different solutions."
"When entering, it always takes a long time to load."
"The tool's pricing could be better."
"Having additional reports available would be helpful."
"Sometimes protections are 'aggregated' into a single threat name when you look at the logs. I would prefer to see all protections named individually (for example, right now, 'web enforcement' is a category that contains several signatures)."
"When exceptions need to be done for certain profiles, it is easy to get them done, however, implementation on some general ones may cause some extra work as the IPS is not easy to overwrite."
"Threat Prevention policies are not very easily manageable as there are several profiles/policies/etc. Therefore, there are several ways to add exceptions and check the configuration."
"Support is the biggest area for improvement."
"The cost is a bit high but it is worth it."
"The local agent should be able to show more logs. At present, the logs are only available from the web console and not from the local agent."
"The initial setup is easy for someone who operates container platforms on a daily basis. However, it could be difficult for those coming purely from informational security or another field of an IT."
"Trend Vision One - Cloud Security seems to have a preference for AWS Cloud over Azure and would be improved by focusing equally on both."
"Securing S3 using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security can cost too much. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security has a tool that requires lots of privileges. From my understanding, it's only for static application testing, so they need to add dynamic application testing, and there should be more collaboration with the application testing tools on the market. We have not used this product, and I don't know if they plan to decommission it or something. They should focus on application security because this tool's unique feature is multi-cloud support. However, they should improve integration with tools for these kinds of use cases, especially application security and dynamic scanning. For example, I would like it to support Dell SecureOps. I'd also like to see some enhancements to API gateway security."
"The product could use a little bit of automation."
"The dashboard should be a bit more intuitive."
"The initial setup can be complex for the inexperienced."
"The pricing can get high."
