"A valuable aspect is its user-friendly configuration, making it accessible even for individuals with basic technical knowledge.""It's a well-rounded solution for routing.""Some of the most valuable features are the simplicity, cost, usability, and power. As a package, it's extremely effective.""The interface management and the user access management is pretty good.""This solution is very similar to the on-premises version making it easy to use for those who know the architect.""The most valuable feature is that it has better throughput than its competitors.""It is easy to set up.""The performance has been good."

Cons
"The solution needs to improve layer 2 switches.""The technical support needs a lot of improvement.""The D-Link Ethernet Switches have to be replaced because they are difficult to manage and security is poor. They should add centralized manageability to make the solution better, it will allow administrators to better know what is happening on the network.""They could be more stable. They were not as resistant as Cisco. After some time, some of them failed. This could be because we import quite a lot of products from different horizons, so there is no guarantee of quality. In Africa, these products don't always directly come from the manufacturer. We get these products from the Middle East or Asia. Therefore, you cannot be sure that the quality is exactly similar to what you have in Europe or America.""The availability could be improved.""I'd like to see a central management system included as part of their license, not as a separate purchase. Currently, we have to manage switches independently. A central portal for managing all switches and providing visibility would be great.""We have issues with the stability.""I would like an option to create different networks within the switch."

"The solution does not yet offer a SaaS version.""If MikroTik had a marketing team and support team in India then it would be much easier for us to get the product, as well as support.""MikroTik needs to add some features like IPS, mail security, or antivirus, et cetera.""Antispam and antivirus features should be included in the future.""The initial setup is complex.""Stuff that I'd like to be improved is really just training and documentation because I think the feature set is full. Another improvement I'd suggest is that their new, bigger releases should be a bit more stable.""There has to be more development in the OS. It's complex for this switch as compared to others like Cisco. For NetGear and Cisco, it's easy to adapt the VLAN concept but it should be simplified for MikroTik.""In medium to large sectors, there's a necessity for managing aspects like proxy firewalls."
