Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The accounting, purchasing, and basic ERP functions work well. But they are a little bit older, but they work for us. The inventory management is good and necessary for any company that manages stock for production or services."

"The most valuable feature of this solution is Financial Management.""The product seems to be quite stable.""I had been using it for the end-to-end functionality.""I like the monthly order management features.""I like that it's stable.""This is the most efficient ERP that is in the market right now.""Technical support is quite good. They are helpful and responsive. We are quite satisfied with their level of support.""We are using it for accounts and finance and also for maintaining third-party transactions and non-CRM transactions."

Cons
"We're facing challenges with iScala in the public sector, specifically healthcare. The system doesn't have sufficient support for the complexities of managing payments for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff."

More Epicor iScala Cons →

"Areas for improvement are the operating mechanisms, authorization of the production process, and sales cycle automation.""SAP Business One could improve asset management, inventory management, banking system, and production. Additionally, SAP Business One did not deduct TDS, withholding tax on payments.""I would love to have more reporting capabilities. It should have an embedded BI engine. Currently, I have to maintain an additional system for BI.""The price could improve for SAP Business One.""More support can be provided on the web client end.""In SAP Business One, customization can be made easier...I would tell those planning to use the solution that though it is a good solution, it might not be a complete solution since there are some missing features in it.""I am not sure if it has an HR and Payroll functionality, but it would be helpful and make it a more complete ERP if they could put the HR and Payroll functionality in it.""The standard SAP Business One is sufficient for the Indian region. There is no need for further enhancement as custom solutions can be designed and developed to meet specific needs. For example, HR and payroll is not a standard feature of the solution, but they can be created as a separate custom solution. However, payroll is not a standard function due to the varying norms and regulations across India's 29 states and union territories. Therefore, a standard payroll solution cannot be provided by SAP to add utility and features. Adding it would lead to different versions of the solution and more complexity in managing them. However, it would be useful to have addons to cover the other states which have different regulations."

  • "Business One is reasonable considering the functionality."
  • "In terms of price, it's fair, but the problem is with AMC."
  • "Its price is reasonable. People are able to spend that much."

  • "We pay annually. It is around 800 a month."
  • "We feel that the licensing fees are a bit on the higher side."
  • "We compared the Microsoft solution with Oracle NetSuite, as they have a price decrease. It is, however, not that much cheaper, and the price is comparable to SAP."
  • "Its price is reasonable. We have about 200 licenses. We have to pay every year for the license."
