We performed a comparison between IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence and Saviynt based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Microsoft, SailPoint, One Identity and others in Identity Management (IM)."Two valuable features of Omada Identity are the ability to discover accounts and link them to identities, and the automatic disabling of inactive accounts or identities."
"I appreciate all the support we receive from Omada."
"The support for the validity of the resources is valuable. The tool allows resource assignments within a validity period so that the managers do not have to remember to revoke the access once the work is done."
"The key benefit of Omada Identity is maintaining complete control."
"The most valuable aspects of Omada Identity for me are the automation capabilities."
"What I like most is that we can always find a solution, and we can also find the cause when something goes wrong. I like that the most because everything is in one way or another traceable. That is what I like most. I like its reliability."
"Omada's onboarding features reflect our processes for onboarding new employees well. That is the primary reason we use this solution. We use role-based access control. I'm not sure how much it has improved our security posture, but it's made managing identities more convenient."
"Our customers have benefited from Omada Identity automating the certification process. Most of our customers were using manual methods for user access certification. With Omada Identity, you can automate almost all of it, which means that certification now becomes on demand. You don't have to wait for two or three months to execute a certification timeframe. Instead, you can do certifications as often as you want."
"I would rate the price eight out of 10, with 10 as the best value for money."
"Lifecycle management, governance and documentation."

"This product works well out of the box and if you don’t want to do a lot of configuration then this is the best tool."
"It is very easy to use. It addresses most of the trends in identity governance and risk management."
"We have found the implementation process to be very easy."
"The workflow in Saviynt is easier compared to other tools. It's pretty straightforward."
"It is a flexible tool because it works on JSON."
"Considering the initial cost and the basic features, this is a good solution that provides integration with both on-premise and cloud applications."
"Saviynt has a lot of potential with many features available for users."
"It's a highly functional system and a very well rounded solution. The onboarding of applications is solid. Their user access reviews are very good. Their role-based model and their identity life cycle stuff are solid. It's a very well rounded, strong product."
"Its flexibility is both a good thing and a bad thing. Because it is very flexible, it also becomes too complex. This is common for most of the products we evaluated. Its scalability should be better. It had a few scalability issues."
"Omada's reporting functionality is limited and could benefit from greater customization."
"The current reporting tools in Omada are limited, but we expect significant improvements in the new version."
"Omada Identity has two main issues that need to be solved or improved the most. One is its setup or installation process because it's complex and cumbersome. I'm talking about the process for on-premises deployment because I've never tried the cloud version of Omada Identity. Setting up the cloud version should be much easier. The second area for improvement in Omada Identity is that it's piggybacking on Microsoft's complex way of having all kinds of add-ons, extensions, or setups, whether small or large, such as the new SQL Server, and it's cumbersome to make sure that everything works. Omada Identity is a complex solution and could still be improved."
"I would like more training. As someone who is new to this world, I don't feel that the courses Omada provides are good enough. They should also improve the documentation. It is difficult to learn how to use the solution by yourself"
"When making a process, you should be able to use some coding to do some advanced calculations. The calculations you can currently do are too basic. I would also like some additional script features."
"The Omada Identity SaaS version doesn't provide all the features Omada Identity on-premise provides."
"The comprehensiveness of Omada's out-of-the-box connectors for the applications we use could be better. We are getting a new HR system called Cornerstone for which they do not have an out-of-the-box connector, so we have to take the REST connector and play around with it."
"The solution is a bit pricey for some regions."
"Self service center is not always easy to understand."

"The UI doesn’t enhance the user experience."
"An area for improvement in Saviynt is that there's a limitation on the number of logs you can get from the past twenty-four hours. For example, if the data is huge, the tool can only give you a maximum of one hundred logs. You can't get any further than that. In the next version of Saviynt, however, you can get more logs and you'll see them inside the log rotation. For example, when you're trying to search inside the log, you can select a date range, and then you can search for a particular log. We haven't used that new log rotation feature yet, but it's included in the next release of Saviynt. Another area for improvement in the tool is that it doesn't have a server monitoring feature, so if your server has a high load, it should give you a warning. You're supposed to get an alert similar to what's being done in WebLogic. In WebLogic, we had a separate facility, but in Saviynt, that feature's missing."
"The configuration process at the beginning can be difficult, depending on the complexity of the company."
"In terms of improvement, it's really just a matter of them getting more mature. It's a relatively new solution and they probably need to streamline a few of the processes as they mature. But there are not too many problems."
"The technical support team's response time could be improved."
"The product lacks a broad user base which makes it difficult sometimes to find answers to questions about the product."
"The product's stability is not easy to maintain."
"The custom application integration is a little complex, and this tool doesn't provide so many plugins or additional applications."
