Find out in this report how the two Reporting solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The querying capabilities are the most valuable because they allow me to build many automations. We have many workflows and many databases that we work on a daily basis. They need to be updated quite quickly. In order to not to take much of our time doing these updates manually, I have set up these automations using the systems. The process is just to ingest the data and reprocess it. Every time I click a button, everything is updated in almost real time. It is by far the easiest system not only for querying but also for data modeling, data visualization, and deployment. It is light years ahead of Tableau and even Microsoft Excel to do these kinds of things. It is very easy to use and set up, and it has a lot of videos on the internet."
"Reports, dashboards, and visualizations are most valuable."
"It's user-friendly and provides data abstracting capabilities. We are also able to share reports with our colleagues very easily."
"Ability to extract data from a variety of sources and systems."
"SSRS and the Tabular server/Vertipaq engine/DAX are probably the two most valuable components."
"It is in the cloud, which makes it easy for mobile access of reports and data."
"The Microsoft Power BI app is very good. It's also very flexible."
"The good part of it is that you can do whatever you want with it when it comes to building BI. In terms of languages, it supports Python, and it also natively supports R."
"Once you open it up, you see everything that you can do."
"We can scale it if we need to."
"Data transforming with scripting, and the associative model that lets users browse data in an easy way, are the most valuable features."

"It's not user-friendly; more tutorials, training, and better documentation would be helpful."

For instance, adjusting the width of columns is not easily done, as there is only an option to enable or disable automatic adjustment. This can be a significant drawback for clients who desire more flexibility."
"Drill-down in dashboards needs to improved. The capability only works in Power BI Desktop today. We need to have an alternative approach today."
"They should offer the capability to directly access data from SaaS environments, as it would simplify the migration process, and while it may seem like a minor enhancement, it would be beneficial to our clients."
"Though the initial setup phase is simple, when it comes to the integration with the custom systems, the configuration and the compatibility sometimes take some more time."
"QlikView's UI could be more user-friendly."
"For me, it is important to have a mix, what is the "view" and what is the "sense", Qlik Sense. They have two tools, but for me it is important to have only one tool, which combines the functions that we have from one side and the other side."
"Sometimes the filters are disappearing, and I'm not sure why this is happening."
