We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Power Automate in the desktop version is web scraping because you can do a lot with it. I work in retail and you can study prices changes, which can give you a lot of information. The solution is no code which is a large advantage.""The feature most useful for integrating different applications is its ability to create flows. Specifically, we use flows to integrate with finance and operations.""It's not hard to learn, which means we'll be able to make more workflows in the future.""The initial setup isn't too difficult.""The solution is very easy to use. It's a code three platform that works very easily with documents to create custom automations.""Microsoft Power Automate offers over 200 connectors that enhance the user experience.""It's an intuitive product. It's not overly technical.""The solution offers a lot of documentation and tutorials for users to learn about various aspects and features."

Cons
"The connectors and the integration capability can be improved. Microsoft RPA is a growing platform, and it is not yet particularly mature.""It can have customizations like enterprise solutions. In the approval section, there should be an option to reassign approval to some other employee. It would be good if we are able to create custom tables by linking to an item, and there is an integration with the HTML table through HTTP calls or Swagger connectors.""Sometimes, Microsoft changes the game rules, and the free tools are no longer free, which makes it too hard to explain to customers. It is a SaaS service, so the cost is calculated based on the execution hours. However, we don't know the background of this cost because we cannot touch the infrastructure. They can be more open to developers or customers about this. The infrastructure part must be open for the customers.""I would like more integration with other tools. It integrates well with Microsoft products, but there should be more integration with other platforms and tools, such as chatbots.""The integration of our system into Power Automate was a bit tricky. We had to put a data lake in place before automating anything because we were not very structured in terms of data. Our major issue was cleaning up the data.""Its licensing model should be improved. The pricing should be more visible and transparent. When you consume services, there are too many criteria to figure out how much it is going to cost you to use the product to its full extent. It should also support visual process editing, which is a standard feature for BPMN 2.0 compliance. They should improve the visual designer.""Microsoft Power Automate could improve by offering recurring execution on the desktop.""The OCR functionality needs to be improved."

"Verint RPA needs a more robust toolset to create complex UIs for workers. It's probably not just this product. Almost all automation solutions have similar limitations."
