We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It offers a lot of information and is very flexible and interactive.""There is a feature in Microsoft BI that allows JSON data to SQL on the dashboards effectively and quickly.""In the process of using data there is the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL). For extracting we are using another software, for transforming we are using our own coding in C#, and then we use Microsoft BI for loading the information. Microsoft BI displays information very well.""The solution is easy to use.""Its visualizations and dashboards are most valuable. Power BI is great in terms of visualizations and dashboards. The reports that we previously had were not very nice in terms of visualization. It also provides the ability to play with the data.""It is easy to use. It has got a desktop where people can develop their own dashboards. Basically, we have figured out how to connect finance contracts and all programs for the government agency. So, they can see everything in a dashboard. So, it is very easy to use from a technical standpoint of view.""In my experience the scalability is good. You are able to increase users and add more data.""It's a great tool for visualization data, and it's free for engineers."

"It's a very strong analytics tool.""The most valuable feature of Zoho Analytics is its connectivity with ERP systems and the functionality to set up different fields for leads.""The integration interface is very easy to use and allows you to directly connect to a variety of APIs.""Zoho Analytics is the best software for giving reports to customers and we can create any report that is required.""The solution’s dashboard is very good.""It provides insights into leads, information about the team and about various sales activities. The graphical representations in the form of charts is excellent.""The initial setup is straightforward.""We really like that it's user friendly and has a lot of combinations and charts. They're good compared to other tools. We used a free Elastic product, comparatively, this solution is good because of their support, UI, and connecting to databases is very easy."

Cons
"Microsoft BI could improve by having better collaboration between developers working on the same dashboard. The developer platform is all done on a single laptop and it's difficult to have the same project files work. Two developers have to go back and forth. You have to have the project file on one developer's laptop making it difficult to co-develop.""I think because I'm moving more into RPA, I'd definitely like to see integration across the RPA, Power BI, or Tableau platforms, because that integration could then make automation and mundane reporting much faster.""The DAX features need some improvement. It's not as easy as Excel. They need more DAX formulas.""Things can slow down if you create too many pages.""This solution needs integration with SAS and more deep analysis functionality.""When there are large amounts of data being processed there are additional tools needed to handle it.""I would like to see a change in the premium capacity.""There needs to be improved guidance and documentation for the initial setup of Power BI as it currently remains complex."

"The customer service and support for this solution could be improved by faster response times.""The platform's pricing needs improvement.""The tool needs to improve analysis and add more features.""The navigation on the interface is not intuitive.""I like the solution's Query Table feature which helps me write SQL queries. We can get data from different tables and then use it to create reports.""There should be more types of graphics available for use in the reports.""This solution does not support manufacturing facilities.""I have a lower rating when it comes to Zoho Analytics. The tool has poor performance. It needs to improve the dimensions and measures."
