Which solution is better for setting up a data lake: Apache Hadoop or Oracle Exadata?

I am a Chief Manager at a large bank.

I need to set up a data lake. Can I depend on Hadoop or Oracle? Which solution do you prefer and why?

Oracle EXADATA is an engineering system, designed for critical missions, has good processing and storage capacity, is easily scalable and being proprietary, and has a support team with great experience and availability, considering the criticality of Service in a Large Bank.
