Comparison Results: Based on the parameters we compared, SentinelOne seems to be a slightly superior solution. All other things being more or less equal, our reviewers found Check Point Harmony Endpoint to be expensive.
"Exceptions are easy to create and the interface is easy to follow with a nice appearance."
"Fortinet FortiEDR's firewalling, rule creation, monitoring, and inspection profiles are great."
"The product detects and blocks threats and is more proactive than firewalls."
"Ability to get forensics details and also memory exfiltration."
"Fortinet FortiEDR made our clients feel secure and more at ease, knowing that they had an EDR solution that would close the gap in their security posture."
"he solution is an anti-malware product that integrates well with other vendor products such as firewalls, SIEM, etc. It captures threat intelligence and gives you better visibility. The product also has sandboxing features."
"The features that I have found most valuable are the ability to customize it and to reduce its size. It lets you run in a very small window in terms of memory and resources on legacy cash registers."
"The most valuable feature is the analysis, because of the beta structure."
"We're able to secure all endpoints and manage them from a single console."
"It is quite easy to use and deploy the agent on endpoints to protect them from bad actors."
"It has improved the detection of malware."
"We are able to manage all our endpoints from a single cloud console."
"Forensic Analysis provides a complete analysis of threats via detailed reports."
"The most valuable feature is Harmony Endpoint's encapsulation system which captures the whole system and protects it against other functions. It is really good for the Check Point Harmony specialists."
"Compared to its competitors, Check Point Harmony Endpoint has advantages in areas like EDR and behavioral detection."
"It's pretty complete for preventing threats to endpoints. Its capabilities are great."
"The most valuable features of SentinelOne are the lateral movement and the use of the Active Directory."
"The deep visibility is a valuable feature. I can use it during threats or alert signals that we get. I can also use it when we have alert signals from other security tools that we have."
"The most valuable feature varies from client to client but having absolute clarity of what happened and the autonomous actions of SentinelOne are what most people find the most assuring."
"The XDR capability is quite good."
"The remediation and rollback features are pretty impressive."
"I really like the storyline feature."
"I am particularly interested in the new app vulnerability module that is included with the Singularity Complete edition."
"Most of the features are valuable. As a system integrator, agent deployment is valuable. It also fits the requirements of most of the clients."
"They can include the automation for the realtime updates. We have a network infrastructure with remote sites. Whenever they send updates, they are not automated. We have to go into the console and push those updates. I wish it was more automated. The update file is currently around 31 MB. It could be smaller."
"The solution's installation from a central installation server could be improved because the engineers had a little bit of trouble getting it installed from a central location."
"The dashboard isn't easy to access and manage."
"It takes about two business days for initial support, which is too slow in urgent situations."
"The amount of usage, the number of details we get, or the number of options that can be tweaked is limited in comparison to that with other EDR solutions"
"Detections could be improved."
"Once, we had an event that was locked and blocked, but information about it came to us two or three days later."
"Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation."
"There was a learning curve for our general population of employees (the user)."
"It blocks safe URLs sometimes when there are network interruptions."
"They need to make the user interface on the server more intuitive and user-friendly."
"An additional feature I would like to see involves the VPN."
"There are a number of features behind paywalls which can be frustrating when you are already paying a premium."
"We would like to make the documentation for more modern solutions like the Harmony family easier to find."
"Legacy VPNs and digital footprints should be minimized."
"For the future, I would like to see maybe a content-filtering emulation feature in Harmony Endpoint."
"I'd like to see us be able to take action on one platform for items such as security variation, security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR)."
"There should be more integration models with different security operations tools or soft tools."
"I would like SentinelOne to add a threat-hunting report and more UEBA features. They could add more SIEM functionality. It would be nice to have the ability to easily drag all the logs from the agents, so there's no need for multiple agents installed on the endpoint."
"SentinelOne Singularity Complete should focus on analytical data. Backend aggregation can make things faster in the front end."
"The agent update is not the most intuitive process, but I understand why they do it. We have a pretty vertical 64-bit environment for Windows. That is pretty much all we have, but we get alerts for things like the new Linux endpoint or things that do not apply to us. That is probably the only thing that I do not like. There may be some way to turn that off so that I do not get endpoint update alerts from platforms that are not applicable to our system, enterprise, or network."
"The solution can improve by adding more granular firewall capabilities."
"SentinelOne could improve by reducing the price."
"I would have liked the dashboard to be more user-friendly."
