We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Fortinet FortiSIEM has its own validated and authentic IP database that marks malicious IP attacks against the firewall and generates an alert for the same.""The solution is very stable. It's run for years without the need to do anything except, add new patches when they are available, which are always a good idea to install.""Fortinet FortiSIEM is less costly than other products and is available 24/7.""FortiSIEM helped us discover all the threats at the time that were attacking the IT services of the company. We now have multiple-level authentication.""We have many application systems, and I can set up Fortinet FortiSIEM for users to monitor their systems.""Easy alert setup which enables different alerts in different categories.""We find the solution to be stable.""FortiSIEM provides a single PIN to monitor SOC and NOC. It's a nice tool for integration and monitoring. It provides multiple categories for monitoring based on security designations like low, medium, and high."

Additionally, if there are aspects that are missing IBM add them in the next release.""The customer support is very good.""The most valuable feature of this product is innovation, where the research and upgrading of technology never ends."

Cons
"Our customers are noticing configuration available in the GUI interface and I think that they should be equal.""They could work on their documentation. If there's anything about the solution that needs improvement, it's that. For example, documentation already is on a very high level but specifically on the CLI there are tons of features which can be fine-tuned and thousands of commands are very difficult to document. If they could make this easier, it would improve the overall solution.""The solution's interface could be modernized and improved.""The challenge I face with Fortinet FortiSIEM is the lack of support.""The process of installing Fortinet FortiSIEM and the customization of the alerts take too long.""With FortiSIEM, the issue has to do with the ways we can generate a report. It's not as flexible compared to that with other SIEM tools, like Splunk.""I would like to see easier implementation in the future.""Sometimes, if there are changes made by a user on a database server, it can be difficult to get that information on the fly. I would like to see a situation where once I specify a user with the database server I need, and with the changes they have performed on that, I don't need to continue my search pattern to drill down just to get the information."

"This is an expensive product, so making it more cost-effective would be an improvement.""The dashboard could improve in IBM Watson for Cyber Security.""In the future, I would like to see threat intelligence included.""They need to continue to build the AI capabilities."
