We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I like that it is easy to transfer to different devices, such as a different laptop. Everything is cloud-based, which I appreciate.""You can access Microsoft 365 Business from anywhere. You have full access to Office 365 or Outlook 365, and the support is there.""Some of the functionality is very easy to use.""Feature-wise, everything is okay. We are getting the latest version of the application. You also don't need to manage anything. Everything is running at the backend. The best part is that even if there is a failure in the on-prem active directory, users can still access mails. You can configure MFA easily and protect the mailboxes. Integrity and confidentiality are there. In this aspect, I am very happy with Microsoft.""The feature I find most valuable is Business 365's real-time edit and updates. You can share files, and it will automatically create the link for you.""What I like is that Office 365 is nicely integrated with our email application Outlook. We also don't have to worry about updates. They are free, and they just happen automatically.""As a small business, the big thing for us is the ability to onboard new people easily. So, it's a matter of minutes to add new users, buy a new license pack for them, assign the licenses to them, and get them logged on. It takes 10 to 15 minutes.""It is a scalable solution."

"The solution is very stable.""Its most valuable feature is imaging, it takes very less time for processing.""Windows Autopilot automates much of the setup process when delivering computers with a specific image to multiple employees simultaneously. It streamlines the configuration loading process, making it more unattended and yielding consistent results. This eliminates the need for an engineer to input data on each machine manually.""Windows Autopilot's most valuable features are its automatic enrollment functionality and ability to detect and configure new devices seamlessly."

Cons
"The performance of the solution is sometimes slow. However, I am not sure if it is the solution's fault or the network we are using.""If Microsoft could do something about data loss prevention, that would be ideal.""The solution could improve by providing more customization for the user interface.""The pricing of the solution could be better.""It's still not fully consistent among all the platforms running on Windows and IOS. It's getting better and better, but there's still a lot of consolidation or integration work to be done.""Areas that need improvement are pricing, stability, and scalability.""It can have more integrations between the applications that are there within this product. In the newer version of Teams, there are some new features that allow you to share directly from Outlook, etc. It would be good if they continue to explore these types of integrations between applications.""For the past six months, I have been facing a synchronization issue between the calendar of Microsoft Teams and the calendar of Microsoft Outlook. In Microsoft Teams, I can't see the updated version of some meetings, but Outlook shows the updated version. There is a problem with data synchronization between the calendars of these applications. Both calendars should be synchronized."

"We encounter issues with re-registering devices in the Azure domain.""If Microsoft can automatically add the license serial numbers, or have a method for us to get those serial numbers added to Windows Autopilot, apart from having to go through the device manufacturer that would greatly improve the solution.""They could provide an executable and user-friendly wizard for installation and automatic removal, making it easier for users."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Depending on which plan you purchase, there are a plethora of applications available to you."
  • "Compared to buying a license, it is much cheaper and a good buy."
  • "We do monthly billing, however, I'm not sure what the exact costs are. We may pay around $1,000/month. We started using the Microsoft Teams and we've started doing the conference call feature, so that's another $4 an account and we have a few accounts using that right now."
  • "USD $1,250 annually for the standard package."
  • "Pricing can vary a lot due to fluctuations in exchange rates and that is not favorable for planning."
  • "Now you can select different licenses, for example, if somebody doesn't need all of the features, it would cost $8 USD per month and if they didn't need the email application then it would cost $6 USD per month."
  • "It works out to be $12.50 per user per month."
  • "Microsoft 365 Business will be good to have if you have a large organization where you have more than 3000 employees. Other cheaper solutions, like Gmail, are easily available in the market."

  • "We are required to have a license for either EMS, E5, or E2."
  • "As far as I know, there isn't an additional cost specifically for Windows Autopilot itself. You'll need to consider the licensing fees for the software you install on the machines, such as Windows and Office. Overall, it is a valuable tool that simplifies the deployment process, making life easier for those involved."
