We performed a comparison between Scalefusion and SOTI MobiControl based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The product has eased the deployment of Microsoft apps to the devices. We can manage it properly. We can control it and push the updates. Another company helped us with the deployment. However, we can do it internally."
"While I don't think you can ever have full visibility and control, Intune certainly allows us to see the applications being used and tells us if things like Windows patches aren't applied to machines. It does a good job. That visibility makes life a little easier."
"I like the tool's integration with Apple. Anyone who creates an ID in Intune will get an Apple ID."
"It is a comprehensive security solution that not only controls access to enterprise resources but also tracks and prevents unauthorized access, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and preventing potential data loss scenarios."
"The solution is easy to use."
"Maturity makes it a stable product."
"The initial setup is not overly complex or difficult."
"The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types, we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager(MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company detail on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."
"Scalefusion is easy to use, and they have a broad knowledge base, so you can quickly find answers if you're unsure how to do something. The articles on the knowledge base are well-written, with clear steps on what to do for a specific scenario. That part is well documented."
"The most valuable features of the solution are containerization and app control."
"The most valuable feature is the fact that I can manage my devices remotely."
"The most valuable features are remote control and geo-fencing."
"The admin part, where I'm adding users, is not too bad. It's easy enough to use."
"I've really enjoyed the use of the file sync when I'm administrating version control in my program."
"We can do auto patch updates using SOTI. SOTI has been well placed in terms of the number of endpoints it can handle."
"The remote control we have helps us a lot."
"It helps in enrolling, managing, and relocating the devices quickly."
"Microsoft Intune fails a lot when it comes to device compliance."
"There are some issues using the solution with macOS and iOS, and it offers limited granular control with them. Intune works better on Windows and Android."
"It would really be helpful to have the option to manage server operating systems as well, like Windows Server, at least. That way, we could scrap the use of SCCM, which requires a lot of on-premises infrastructure."
"Lacking in features such as Wi-Fi and network security."
"It's only good for a Microsoft environment."
"The pricing could be improved."
"The installation could be improved to be simplified."
"The UI is not user-friendly and has room for improvement."
"It could be easier to put devices on the blocklist. I would like the ability to block a device with a click of a button. Currently, we have to sift through different groups to block a device. It would be nice if Scalefusion allowed me to block without moving the device to a different profile. Another helpful feature they could add is the ability to migrate from one MDM to another. I'd also appreciate more extensive cloud storage. They give you 1 GB by default, but sometimes that's not enough."
"There could be a feature for user ID management."
"There is room for improvement in the support."
"The main feature that we would like to have with Soti is the ability to push an iOS update without having people come to my office. That is the main reason why we went with Soti. And that feature is not working on my version."
"The previous version, for example, had the networking signal and that feature was great. When we were troubleshooting, we could find the level of the network I/O. If the worker was working in a corner of the warehouse where the signal was not as strong as in another part of the warehouse, we could tell, "Just move a little and you will have coverage for your device." That was great. I don't know why they removed it from the newer version."
"SOTI MobiControl could improve by being more user-friendly."
"I wish that I had some more tutorials and educational resources on how to use the product."
"The remote screen of the solution gets stuck at times. So, that needs to be improved."
"The management console could be improved to be a little bit more user-friendly. Some of the stuff is a little bit cumbersome, some of it feels like an engineering solution, but otherwise it's pretty good."
