"The console is easy to read. I also like the scanning part and the ability to move assets from one to the other."
"The solution was relatively easy to deploy."
"The stability is very good."
"The price is low and quite competitive with others."
"NGAV and EDR features are outstanding."
"Forensics is a valuable feature of Fortinet FortiEDR."
"This is stable and scalable."
"Fortinet has helped free up around 20 percent of our staff's time to help us out."
"The administration is its most valuable feature as I can see all versions in one place."
"This solution blocks the brand new malware threats."
"I rate ESET Endpoint Security eight out of 10 for ease of setup. Setting up ESET can be straightforward or complicated depending on the customer's environment. The deployment time varies, but it's typically around five days. We have a team of four or five people involved in the deployment. Only one person is needed for maintenance. The only maintenance is adjusting the configuration of the dashboard."
"Ransomware protection is embedded in the solution."
"ESET Endpoint Security’s most valuable feature is the management console."
"The solution is easy to install and configure."
"I like the integration; it lets you see the product installed on a particular computer."
"The most valuable thing for me is that when I'm using the internet and I reach some site that isn't so secure, or isn't recommended because they don't have a good reputation, ESET will notify me."
"The offline networking is the most important feature. Some of our users are engineers that work offsite, and they can still be on the solution, which is also great."
"It is a very complete platform."
"Carbon Black CB Defense has helped improve my organization by allowing us to have better data so that we can do correlation and get visibility into the alerts."
"The threat analysis functionality is good."
"There's lots of very useful documentation online to help troubleshoot and learn about the product."
"For Carbon Black Endpoint, the possibility of integration with different other software's log servers is the important thing. Having just one point of view is more interesting so you don't need to go to different places to see all the information."
"CB Defense is more powerful, and you can take more actions than others. Its security features and signatures are constantly updated, so it is more effective than other security solutions."
"The solution is very useful and easy to handle. You don't need much intervention with this product."
"The EDR console should have more extensive reporting. You shouldn't need to purchase FortiAnalyzer. It should be included in the EDR part. The security adviser cloud platform could be improved with more options for exclusive or intensive rules for devices."
"Cannot be used on mobile devices with a secure connection."
"The security should be strong for the cloud. Some applications are on-prem and some are on the cloud. Fortinet should also have strong security for the cloud. There should be more security for the cloud."
"The dashboard isn't easy to access and manage."
"FortiEDR can be improved by providing more detailed reporting."
"The only minor concern is occasional interference with desired programs."
"Detections could be improved."
"Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation."
"It's not scalable in that you cannot use a license for multiple devices."
"They should have better support for different languages and auto-upgrading."
"ESET Endpoint Antivirus could improve the mobile device experience by having more coverage."
"The scalability could be better."
"The integration capabilities might be lacking a bit."
"There are other features you can add on to help make the security stronger, however, they should offer better security even on a basic level."
"I am a MAC user and my asset cybersecurity is continuously displaying warnings that I am not using their firewall."
"The update process can be improved, and there could be an automatic update process when a new version comes out. For system updates or program updates, there could be more automation."
"CB Defense could be more compatible with Linux, and its cloud provision could be improved."
"The pricing could be more reasonable."
"I haven't run into anything that needs improvement. The website interface can be a little bit better, but it's still good as compared to most others."
"The device control feature could also be compatible with the user’s profile as well."
"It could be a bit complicated. You have to be very familiar with Carbon Black to understand what it is doing and why it is doing. I would like to have more explanations and simplification in the user interface. It would be good to get help and see more explanations. It should tell us that a software is blocked and the reason for it. It would be good to be able to build chains in terms of what caused what, what worked, and what caused an issue. We are now moving from Carbon Black to Cortex XDR. While choosing antivirus software, we were also looking at Carbon Black because it also has an antivirus package, and it is next-generation, but we were told that Carbon Black doesn't support firewalls. We have Palo Alto firewalls. We would have chosen this solution if it supported firewalls, in particular next-generation firewalls, but unfortunately, it doesn't. Therefore, we decided on Cortex XDR because it integrates with Palo Alto firewalls."
"Right now, Carbon Black CB Defense doesn't support cloud computing and Kubernetes."
"The endpoint machines need improvement."
"What was rolled out to my company are mixed versions of Carbon Black CB Defense, so what I'd like to see in the next release is more synchronization, where it can detect the endpoint that's running an old version and suggest updates."
