We performed a comparison between Clarity CA and ManageEngine Endpoint Central based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Client Desktop Management solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."To me, the most valuable feature of Clarity CA is the timesheet. It's the only feature I use because I just support the tool, and I just enter time on it. Others use Clarity CA for other purposes, such as resource management, project management, scheduling, and financials. The tool also has a fairly simple integration with other systems, so at the moment, it's working fine. I also like that you can write your own code in Clarity CA, and you can make changes to it based on your needs."
"The initial setup is easy."
"Its cross-platform capabilities and the ability to do both OS-level patching and third-party patching are valuable. It is difficult to find a software product that will do all that for you out of the box, and you don't have to do any configuration other than your initial setup. Once you do that, there is a very minimalistic approach to getting it operational. You can have it up and running within a 20-minute time span."
"The solution is time-saving and resource-saving."
"We can scale the product."
"The centralized control of all of our Windows hardware that this solution offers has been most valuable to our organization."
"It's a complete product that allows you to remote troubleshoot, has an inventory of systems."
"The stability is great."
"All of Desktop Central's features are valuable, especially its simplicity."
"What could be improved in Clarity CA is its UI, but I know the Clarity team is working on a new UI, so I'm expecting its UI to get better. The software also has too many functions, so it would be good if the functions or features could be split up, rather than needing to buy the whole Clarity CA package, when you'll only use a few of its functions. This increases the cost of the software, so that's another area for improvement. How Clarity CA is marketed could also be improved."
"The solution is expensive."
"I would like to see them come out with a SaaS version of the product in the future."
"Improvement should be done as per customer requirements."
"Some difficulties with setup for multiple locations."
"The support could be faster."
"The team I've currently got is not using it particularly well, due to the fact that they don't know how to use it particularly well. They've not done any training and so on."
"There are no dynamic changes on web pages and it's lacking visually."
"The reporting analytics could improve in ManageEngine Desktop Central. However, there are some third-party add-ins or modules you can purchase to do reporting analytics."
