We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the author's discovery of assets.""The privileged account management feature is what I like most.""This is a cloud-based application, which makes it very easy to deploy.""The most valuable feature of Delinea Privileged Access Service is we can use the server as a jump host. It is simple to manage the accounts on the system.""The reporting is excellent.""The vault and auditing capabilities are the most valuable feature because they include multiple reports that allow us to create our own reports.""The solution provides secure access to environments.""The solution is flexible."

"We don't need to use VPN for remote access.""The solution's most valuable features are the efficiency and the quality of the recording.""One of the most important things is that it is very easy to use and install. It is also agentless, so all of the operations happen more smoothly than any other product.""It is generally easy-to-use and install.""The Transparent Mode is the number one advantage of the product.""The technical support is tremendous.""All the features are promising, but we love the reporting feature because we can get each and every report. That's a major compliance requirement. Its reporting is really amazing, and it has made life a lot easier.""All sessions are audited and they are indexed/searchable through the GUI."

Cons
"It is difficult to integrate the product with other IT systems.""Although the interface is intuitive, it could be a little more user-friendly.""The pricing and presence could be improved.""This solution needs better integration with third-party solutions because their ability to support other tools is very weak.""Enhancing the solution by incorporating additional features to make it comprehensive would be beneficial. It would be more convenient to have a complete package solution that consolidates all the features in one place, making it easier to manage. Currently, I am required to access two separate servers for reports, which could be avoided if all the necessary features were available in a single location. This would be highly advantageous for managing everything effectively.""I would like for there to be a suitable solution to deploy a low-spec version for desktop password management to all our staff.""The initial setup is a bit complex.""The integration with sync could be improved."

"The SPS could be a lot easier to administrate and the parts should be unified, from a design perspective, so that I can recognize the systems as being part of the same package. They feel like they have been forced together.""The deployment affects our privileged users because it takes a long time for them to request privileges, which impacts the SLA.""We've had issues managing accounts and access to some data saved on the servers. Accounts are granted a new working certificate daily. We have an account to do it on APIs online and sync it with that. If the path changes at some point or someone changes the password, I don't know if it's from the Active Directory or what.""The high availability function of the box requires a long time to switch over from one appliance to another.""The Transparent Mode could be somewhat easier to use.""We can't review or audit HTTP and HTTPS. This functionality should be added so that we can review and audit HTTP and HTTPS.""Something for One Identity to look at is having integration guidelines for how to logically group accounts.""There is a lack of documentation and many problems with the plugins."

  • "Setup cost, pricing and licensing are all very expensive."
  • "Our licensing costs are on a yearly basis."
  • "It was definitely cheaper than the other two products that we evaluated."
  • "They offer a fair price for a robust solution."
  • "The full license is expensive but if you plan to use it in a big organization then it is the best option because it is more flexible."
  • "It is a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. You don't want to get anything too cheap because then you get cheap stuff and cheap support. That really never helps anybody."
  • "The pricing is about $80,000 per 100 servers. There are few elective costs."
  • "We have a yearly license. The cost depends on how much a company wants to invest in technology. In our organization, we believe in modern digitization and automation processes so we found it affordable. One Identity was not that much less than other solutions and it is not a cheap solution. There were number of cheaper solutions. However, it's the most effective, according to our evaluation."

    Overview

Delinea Privilege Service provides all of your IT administration teams with secure, granular access to infrastructure regardless of location, and without the hassles of a VPN.
Secure browser-based access Authorized IT users launch management sessions for resources directly from the Privilege Service portal. Sessions use SSH and RDP protocols, and are always protected end-to-end.

Access across organizational boundaries Privilege Service enables you to authenticate your IT users through Active Directory, LDAP Cloud Directory, or Google G Suite
Directory. You can use one or any combination of these identity stores to grant granular access to employees, business partners and outside vendors.

Grant access to specific resources Unlike a VPN, Privilege Service enables you to grant access to
resources on a on a per-resource basis. This means that you can easily give your internal IT admins access to as much of your infrastructure as necessary, while limiting access by an outsourced
team to only the servers and network hardware their business role or IT function requires.

Access from any location Your IT admins can log in and securely access resources from any location that can reach the Privilege Service. For user logins outside the corporate network, you can require Delinea's built-in multi-factor authentication for security stronger than a user name and password.

One Identity Safeguard manages and monitors privileged access, enhancing security with features like automatic session recording, real-time monitoring, and credential rotation. It integrates seamlessly, supports compliance with audit trails, and improves operational efficiency across organizations. This robust platform significantly bolsters security protocols while controlling sensitive operations.
