"The accounting module's record and report process is closely integrated with almost every other process.""The stability and performance are good.""The stability is SAP ERP is not good only because the version is old. They could work on improving the versions.""The features are very useful for finance.""The system can be integrated with other SAP functionalities - such as finance, production, sales, marketing, HR, et cetera, and can also be customized to become a model that's specifically designed for my business. That's the solution's most valuable aspect.""The solution is very mature.""SAP is already working on improvements by doing annual releases with enhancements.""It is a comprehensive and robust solution. It can provide lots of functional features."

Cons
"The functionality for monitoring satisfactory academic progress has room for improvement."

More Ellucian Cons →

"SAP ERP was not very user-friendly.""Poor ergonomics.""Sometimes the cost is not reasonable, such as in the case of budgeting.""The speed to build and the speed to deliver could be better.""The problem with SAP is that whenever there is a modification, or if a new field needs to be added, they charge tens of thousands, hundreds, or even two hundred thousand dollars. That is not anything in which I am really interested. For instance, consider a single-use case. I have to enter the root causes for a certain operation or failure. That option does not exist anywhere in SAP, not in manufacturing, not in logistics, not in anything. It is completely missing. The root cause analysis is very common across industries, yet SAP does not offer this option. A line field or a metaparticle, for example, was delayed. If you have the choice to input the warehouse operator or if the person who submitted the document has the opportunity to enter, this has been postponed for N, X, Y, or Z reasons.""The user interface isn't as nice as SAP HANA's.""The integration with others application could be easier. There are many different features that this solution offers which could be easier to implement.""The problem for us, we are one company that has seven home markets. Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. When we need to configure, modify rules, change policies, or taxes rules, when we move currencies around based on our other financial results, it can get very complicated. When we try to join everything together we have some problems. However, the process good, all of our material and procurement processes are going well. The problem is trying to consolidate the financial reports and this is where I have problems."
