Find out what your peers are saying about Splunk, Wazuh, Datadog and others in Log Management."It offers the capability to view live log ingestion directly from the console which means you can seamlessly manage live log data ingestion alongside accessing and analyzing older data from the past."
"One of the main features that I like about LogRhythm NextGen SIEM is that there are a lot of pre-built pieces. Like with our AV, we didn't have to tell it how to read the logs; they already had it pre-made. So, we essentially just had to follow their guide to get the logs imported in and set up some rules for it. We've only had to manually create the parsing rules for a few of our vendors so that we could interpret the logs correctly. Most of them had already been pre-created for us."
"Its ability to work with all different sorts of log sources has been extremely valuable."
"We use this solution to examine disparate log sources and provide a cohesive method to search for anomalous behavior."
"The log analysis feature is valuable."
"Even other products we have that feed into it, instead of having to watch all of them we only have to watch one. For example, we have CrowdStrike, so instead of having to pay attention that solution - because their dashboard doesn't really pop when an alarm comes up - we can see issues with the red on the LogRhythm alarm. That is very nice."
"The PCI compliance pieces that help us produce reports for our external auditor, and their support."
"SOAR is integrated with the dashboard that we use for threat management. Because it's all integrated, it is useful for us when we deploy something on-prem."
"We now have a central point of monitoring for all potential threats."
"There are some overlapping features found in multiple tools."
"One area for improvement in LogRhythm NextGen SIEM is that it's a Windows-based tool, and I feel it should be on the Linux operating system instead. Another area for improvement in the tool is the UI. There should be minor changes in the UI to make it better, though I like the dashboards in LogRhythm NextGen SIEM."
"One of the challenges of the SIEM for the LogRhythm 7 platform is the amount of time it takes to bring new log sources into the MDI."
"The installation was a bit complex because we are running a virtual infrastructure."
"My biggest issue - I know that they say they're doing it - is that the API-building is extremely important. They keep saying it's coming, it's coming. It's not coming fast enough. I don't care if they need to double their team size to get it out there quicker, the world is already in the cloud and we can't monitor it. That's a big problem for us. My boss keeps coming to me about it. That's an issue."
"I would like it to do a lot of the automation (which I still need to learn more about), because I am essentially a one man shop doing all the jobs. I'd like for it to be able to do more for me."
"In the next release, I would certainly like to see more HIPAA compliance. I would also like to see more integration with Palo Alto Networks, particularly their Traps, which is their endpoint solution."
"I would like to see our vulnerabilities counter. We will be using Tenable to fill that void right now."
"The product's stability needs improvement."
