Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's a very nice solution to work with.""Fortinet FortiSIEM's most valuable feature is the simplicity in handling multi-tenancy and the ability to switch between different clients at the same time. That was handled flawlessly.""This solution offers extensive customization options, making it possible to adapt it precisely to their requirements.""Some of our customers who use this solution have seen improvement in their connection with load balancing on both connections.""It's easy to manage. There's a web interface and a command line, depending on what the user is comfortable with. There's a large knowledge base available, and the support is timely.""I like the various options, including the option for CMDB and the easier access to create rules, playbooks, or use cases. It's also easier to use for creating dashboards and reports.""Technical support is helpful.""The seamless integration with FortiGate is the solution's most valuable aspect."

"It is easy to identify and collect information from all of the nodes on the network.""The product helps users stay on top of gaining insight into the active directory, permissions and security sets, and user group policy changes.""The technical support is good."

Cons
"The interface needs some improvements because it's a bit cumbersome when you're trying to view items. It takes some time to get used to. Additionally, sometimes the scrolling does not work.""The dashboard needs to improve.""The solution's interface could be modernized and improved.""Customer support service could be better.""The solution needs to do a better job with third party integration. Right now, that's lacking on the solution. I specifically am talking about the AWS environment. Most of the AWS environment products do not have that capability to integrate.""We expect the latest patch from Fortinet FortiSIEM to give the ability to work with signature files.""The policy editing should be easier. Right now, it's too hard.""They could work on their documentation. If there's anything about the solution that needs improvement, it's that. For example, documentation already is on a very high level but specifically on the CLI there are tons of features which can be fine-tuned and thousands of commands are very difficult to document. If they could make this easier, it would improve the overall solution."

"The product could use more intelligence, automation and general availability of product information.""The ManageEngine features could improve to show graphs of the traffic and network utility.""We would like to have support for integration with ServiceDesk."

  • "They have a yearly subscription."
  • "The solution is available for both, perpetual and subscription licenses."
