Find out what your peers are saying about JAMF, Microsoft, Kandji and others in Mobile Device Management (MDM)."The most valuable features are the user-friendly interface and ease of use. There is a benefit to not needing to install the application on your computer. For example, if you want to use Outlook or another application you can easily navigate to the website through your phone and quickly check your email. This is a very useful feature."
"I feel the solution to be scalable."
"The solution has been quite stable."
"The solution has been very stable."
"It is easy to use."
"You can access files through any device at any corner of the world."
"The Power BI environment and the integration between Power BI and SQL are the solution's most valuable features. The integration between products is great."
"You can have conference calls with different parties using video and voice."
"One of the biggest advantages of Microsoft Intune is that it brings the management of Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and even Linux under a single pane of glass."
"There are so many features, but Windows Autopilot is one of the features that are very valuable for most customers."
"The dashboards, the security, and the customization capabilities work very well for us."
"It is quite policy-enabled, so you can build pretty much any policy to manage remote endpoints."
"Intune's unified endpoint management platform is invaluable."
"For the price, the features included with Microsoft are appealing."
"The ability to (somewhat) manage full Windows 10 computers including EXE-based or MSI-based application deployments using Azure Active Directory as Identity."
"It works pretty well for us."
"The cost estimation can be difficult."
"The backup option should be included in Microsoft 365 Business."
"It should be more affordable."
"I feel that the user interface can be better when it comes to file sharing."
"For the past six months, I have been facing a synchronization issue between the calendar of Microsoft Teams and the calendar of Microsoft Outlook. In Microsoft Teams, I can't see the updated version of some meetings, but Outlook shows the updated version. There is a problem with data synchronization between the calendars of these applications. Both calendars should be synchronized."
"Sometimes, it tries to be a little bit too clever in preempting things that you want to do. The settings can be pretty complicated. It has the desktop version and the cloud version. You can have settings in the cloud version that are impacting your desktop version, but you don't know because you can't see the settings like rules and other things. So, they need to think about the experience. It should be the same if you log in to the cloud or if you log in via desktop."
"The enterprise version should only contain enterprise features and not other items that aren't business-related items."
"It would be better if they offered more integrations to integrate with other platforms. It should also allow the content to be accessed over the LTI."
"The installation is very easy. However, to be able to configure it you will need special knowledge, such as training or self-studies to have a proper level of security. There are many settings one has to understand before being able to implement Microsoft Intune."
"Microsoft Intune lacks the ability to provide seamless remote assistance or remote control."
"We haven't really gone through all the features of Intune. We are just discovering them. Every day, we see a new feature that we want to apply, but what will be great for Intune is to be able to deploy apps in a simple fashion. We should be able to easily install various apps on the Windows platform, iOS, and Android. Currently, we have to write some scripts. It's not as straightforward as we would like it to be. It should be simplified so that we can do it just with three clicks—next, next, finish—without needing to write a script."
"The documentation about the custom image setup could be better. Although Microsoft provides the steps to configure Intune or set up or deploy Intune, it doesn't have much information related to custom images. If you ask, "how can we deploy the custom image?" There is no information. The steps they mention ask you to connect to your on-premises environment or create your own image on the cloud itself once there is connectivity. But I needed to go to multiple websites to get all this information. I had to figure out how to upload the custom image if you want to use the on-premise custom image for Cloud PC. If you have the proper subscription, you must have the right access, like global admin or owner. Then you can add your custom image to that. There are no steps mentioned over there. Microsoft Intune doesn't have Chrome browser support. I would like to have that support because they will want it if we pitch the product to clients."
"It should be easier to define policies and comply with those policies."
"Lacking in features such as Wi-Fi and network security."
"I expect Microsoft Intune to have more features in the cloud because there are two major functionalities that we need to be added. This is software metering and license management. These functionalities, for now, must be on-premise. For this purpose, we have set up a SQL Server and I hope that in near future this option will be in the cloud in Microsoft Intune."
"When Microsoft Intune is used with different android devices it does not always work as it is supposed to."
