We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I would rate my experience with the initial setup a nine out of ten, with ten being easy to set up.""The product’s most valuable feature is integration.""The tool’s biggest benefit is the access we have to other Azure products.""The solution is very easy for new users because it includes very good documentation and transparency.""Logic Apps helped reduce complexity or development time. For example, if we get documents in the form of images, we can use Logic Apps to extract information from those images. This simplifies our efforts compared to originally using Microsoft APIs to do the same task.""One special aspect of Azure Logic Apps is its easy integration of various applications, especially when connectors are already available. For instance, there are connectors for database applications and systems like SAP. You can drag and drop the connectors to complete your integration quickly.""Logic Apps is valuable because my team uses it for integrating SaaS tool sets.""If we are working with a service-oriented architecture, as an architect as a baseline, it supports us very well in terms of expandability, and the kind of robustness it brings, especially with its serverless nature is fabulous."

Cons
"Especially when using a function or a parameter, that could be easier as that's not very well-documented, and it's not very clear from the tool itself how to use it.""Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could have more customization options for connectors.""A room for improvement in Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is that it's expensive. Every step is going to cost you money, so if someone is not doing the steps carefully, at the end of the day, it will cost a lot of money. Each time you execute a step, the cost will depend on how much you use Microsoft Azure Logic Apps, and how many workflow steps you have. Each time a step needs to be executed, there'll be a cost added to your bill. If the developer isn't careful with how he uses the solution, this can blow up the cost. What I'd like to see in the next release of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is for the cost and security to be better.""The visual tool that is used to build integration is quite old.""I find the current interface useful, but I could see how others would want the UI bits that are used for creating Logic Apps to be simplified.""Not all connectors are readily available, though. There are two types: managed connectors and app connectors. Some connectors require you to provide a username and password to connect to platforms like SharePoint or Salesforce. Due to security constraints, some users may prefer not to use these connectors. Instead, they might opt for the HTTP connector.""The solution lacks sufficient connectors.""It would be beneficial to have less code and tighter integration between different cloud services."

"Integrations could be better. Although integration is good, we have faced some block issues.""The deployment was rather complicated.""TIBCO Cloud Integration is not a user-friendly tool when it comes to the installation phase or for maintaining the systems since its architecture is really complex."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The cost of the solution could be cheaper."
  • "If we are comparing to other public cloud vendors, such as Amazon or Google Cloud platform, I wouldn't say that it's expensive. However, when we're comparing between a host such as GoDaddy or Digital Ocean, then it's a bit on the expensive side."
  • "It's very cheap, but it comes with pluses and minuses. The positive thing is that it's very cheap, but on the other hand, it's extremely hard to tell how much it will cost. At the start of the project, it's almost impossible to tell how many times you will be calling some kind of Logic App function. You cannot state how much of the internet transfer you will use or how much data your will use."
  • "The price of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is inexpensive."
  • "Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could be costly if a user isn't careful. The costs associated with the solution could still be improved."
  • "The product is not cheap. I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
  • "The pricing is not expensive."
  • "The pricing is okay. It's not highly priced. It's in the medium range."
