Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Inventory management in NetSuite OneWorld is one of the best in the industry, so this feature is what I like most about the solution.""The executive dashboards have satisfied the founders and leadership with up to the minute information. This allows them to make high level decisions.""NetSuite is a great solution, fast to bring up and makes everyone's life easier.""We've set up Jira integration and used robotic process automation (RPA) to streamline various processes, like procurement and invoicing. Some processes still require manual approval, like supplier invoices, but we're simplifying those too. We're also exploring integrating with other tools like Power BI for better data analytics and reporting. Currently, our automation focuses on general tasks, not document understanding or anything complex like that.""NetSuite OneWorld is a single instance that allows you to do different business functions, such as reporting, order-to-cash, design-build, and procure-to-pay. This feature is what's most valuable in the solution.""The ability to customize it to create custom fields that are reportable, and then to be able to write script behind it to automate other processes that might otherwise be manual is great.""The solution has helped us save money by reducing the number of people needed for delivery, finance, and customer service. We now better understand our stock and purchases, and our sales team can access information without constantly communicating with delivery.""Utilizes best practices that are simple to implement."

"For us, the most useful feature of Business One is Material Requirements Planning (MRP).""The most valuable feature of Business One depends on the industry. Generally speaking, Business One works best in automotive industry use cases.""The most valuable feature of SAP Business One is the price and reputation of the vendor. The solution is widely accepted around the world.""The efficient Intercompany sales to purchase order conversion is great.""The relationship map is very useful for us.""Its usability is the most valuable. It is very intuitive and user-friendly. In terms of functionality, it has all the basic functionalities for ERP, such as CRM, sales, and manufacturing. These are the functionalities that we typically use for all SMEs. In terms of localization, SAP Business One is the best. It has got localization across all countries, which is an advantage. No other solution has such localization.""It's useful for users and it's simple to work with.""I like the monthly order management features."

Cons
"NetSuite OneWorld, the consolidation feature has been incredibly valuable. However, I cannot speak to the full range of features and functionalities offered by OneWorld as I am not familiar with all of them. I have utilized OneWorld primarily in the biotech industry, with a focus on operating expenses and financial reporting, such as capital contributions and foreign currency adjustments. I am confident, however, that OneWorld offers a robust module for reporting and consolidating revenue, though I have not had the opportunity to directly utilize this aspect of the software.""The solution could improve by having more integration.""There is not a 20 year pedigree of pharma experience in the NetSuite channel. While there are many of these CMO Pharma companies rapidly moving to NetSuite, there are few consultants with true pharma experience. Those who have experience are stretched pretty thin.""Needs time entry for billable employees.""Certain analytics features are missing that I've come to expect from other systems. Additionally, there are occasional issues with data accuracy that need to be addressed. Overall, deeper analytics capabilities would greatly improve the tool's usefulness for me.""In NetSuite OneWorld, what needs improvement is the production planning functionality.""I don’t like the SaaS models. Of course, they make the tool powerful enough to run a billion-dollar business. The tool is cheaper than SAP or Core.""Some entities are not available for multiple subsidiaries, which requires duplication."

"The production scheduling, manufacturing, and planning could improve in SAP Business One. Additionally, the projection management module could improve. These functionalities are important in the construction industry we are working in at the moment.""SAP could improve the performance of the business alignment with other products.""The initial implementation is not straightforward. It took approximately three months to complete. The process could be easier.""Security could be improved.""While SAP has been a leader in the enterprise and SME segments, many competitors have emerged with new features, especially in analytic modules like Salesforce and Oracle. The rise of cloud tools from providers like Amazon, Google, and Azure, offering analytics and visual analytical tools, has contributed to this shift. It seems SAP Business One may not have focused as much on this aspect, prioritizing the basic functioning of the enterprise. As a result, the latest user experience, particularly in digital aspects of data consumption, may not be on par with what's available in the market.""I am not sure if it has an HR and Payroll functionality, but it would be helpful and make it a more complete ERP if they could put the HR and Payroll functionality in it.""I'd like to see the solution become more user-friendly.""It would be ideal if the reporting and dashboards were improved upon."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Consider the roles of the employees who will use NetSuite and identify any groups who will only utilize the employee center. These licenses are cheaper and will reduce costs significantly."
  • "Measure twice, cut once."
  • "Good solution for the price, but hire a skilled project manager to handle the technical setup."
  • "Do not try to go it alone. Get a consultant who has been there and listens."
  • "NetSuite offers a great many advantages, including a cost of about third of the traditional pharma manufacturing ERP packages."
  • "NetSuite OneWorld is much less expensive for a very small to medium-sized business. Still, when you grow into an enterprise-level company, the price increases, but as long as you plan and know that going in, it's manageable."
  • "NetSuite OneWorld has fair pricing. It was not very expensive, so price-wise, I'm rating it as five out of ten."
  • "NetSuite OneWorld tends to be pricey. The decision to allocate a budget for this solution ultimately rests with the management and negotiating team, and I am not typically included in these discussions. Nonetheless, the information I've received leads me to believe that it is a costly platform. There are not any additional costs that I am aware of."

  • "Business One is reasonable considering the functionality."
  • "In terms of price, it's fair, but the problem is with AMC."
  • "Its price is reasonable. People are able to spend that much."
  • "Its licensing model is good. There is a one-off payment for the software license, and after that, you only need to pay the annual maintenance fee. Compared to other cloud-based systems, this cost model is quite reasonable for SMEs."
  • "We pay annually. It is around 800 a month."
  • "We feel that the licensing fees are a bit on the higher side."
  • "We compared the Microsoft solution with Oracle NetSuite, as they have a price decrease. It is, however, not that much cheaper, and the price is comparable to SAP."
  • "Its price is reasonable. We have about 200 licenses. We have to pay every year for the license."
