"LinkGreat firewall capabilities"
"The most valuable features of the solution are SD-WAN, filtering testing applications, web filtering, and the new VPN."
"The most useful functionality of Fortinet FortiGate is the user interface, multiple engines, and their cloud with the latest integrations. Additionally, the Security Fabric tool is very good."
"Fortinet FortiGate has many valuable features, such as IDS, and intrusion detection. It has security features that are in part with the technologies that are available in the market."
"The tool is a nice product and easy to handle. The software's user interface is also good. You can easily implement remote access in the solution."
"I'm pretty happy with its reliability. It is also very scalable."
"We use a lot of function on the IPS and it works well for us."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is Quota."
"I like its order management feature. It doesn't have the kind of threat intelligence that Palo Alto has, but the order management makes it much simpler to know the difference."
"Among the most valuable features are the DDoS protection that protects your virtual machines, the threat intelligence, and traffic filtering."
"The solution is stable."
"All its features are good. That's why we recommend it."
"Microsoft's technical support is very good. They're quite knowledgable and responsive."
"The feature that I have found the most valuable is the control over the network permissions and the network."
"The solution should be capable of self-scaling, which is one of the features we like about it."
"It's helped us improve our security posture."
"The most valuable features are the IPS/IDS subscriptions."
"The technical support is great."
"The machine learning in the core of the firewalls, for inline, real-time attack prevention, is very important to us. With the malware and ransomware threats that are out there, to keep abreast of and ahead of those types of attacks, it's important for our devices to be able to use AI to distinguish when there is malicious traffic or abnormal traffic within our environment, and then notify us."
"Flexible and integrates well with apps and other security tools."
"Its flexibility is the most valuable."
"The packet level inspection is the most valuable feature. The traffic restriction features allow us to restrict the sub-features of any platform."
"The key aspect of this solution that provides the most value is its next-gen capabilities, which represented a significant change for us."
"I like that they are more stable than the previous ones, and they allow a lot of other features."
"Some of the features in the graphical user interface do not work, which requires that we used the command-line-interface."
"I think there could be more QoS features"
"It should provide better visibility over the network and more information in the form of reports for the end users. Its installation should also be easier."
"The setup is pretty complex and not easy to implement."
"Fortinet FortiGate needs to improve the protection, it did not prevent us from being attacked. Additionally, Fortinet FortiGate could provide more features for WAF devices. I should not have to purchase two solutions, it would be a benefit to combine these features into one solution."
"Its reporting can be improved. Sometimes, I don't get proper reports."
"Fortinet FortiGate could improve if it had a cloud-managed solution."
"Some of the software stability could improve."
"The reporting, logging, and monitoring features, as well as the flexibility of the policies, need to be improved."
"They can improve the pricing of Azure Firewall."
"Azure Firewall has limited visibility for IDPS, no TLS inspection, no app ID, no user ID, no content ID, no device ID. There is no antivirus or anti-spyware. Azure Firewall doesn't scan traffic for malware unless it triggers an IDPS signature. There is no sandbox or machine learning functionality, meaning we are not protected from Zero-day threats. There is no DNS security and limited web categories."
"An Azure firewall is not a real firewall."
"It needs a lot of improvement, especially on intruder detection. They are working hard on that."
"The product could be made more customizable."
"The tool needs to improve the onboarding and transition process for on-prem users."
"You have to have a defined IP range within your network to associate it with your network. The problem is you have to plan ahead of time if you expect to use the firewall in the future so that you don't have to reconfigure your subnets or that specific IP range. Other than that, I don't any issues. I use it for basic configuration for a single application, so I really don't try to leverage it for multiple applications where I might find some complexity or challenges."
"Most other VPN clients include mobile VPNs but Palo Alto does not."
"There has been a recent change in the graphical interface. For the monitoring part, they could have a better UI."
"Lacks mobility between on-prem and cloud based."
"In Mexico, Palo Alto's discounts are significantly lower than Cisco's. They are also more expensive – about 15% or 20% – than Cisco, but their platforms are very similar."
"Technical support can be faster at responding."
"Its stability can be better. Their technical response from the support side can also be better."
"The bugs can be improved."
"The user interface is a bit clumsy and not very user-friendly."
