Find out what your peers are saying about Zabbix, Datadog, Auvik and others in IT Infrastructure Monitoring."The tool has a very good interface and helps to monitor the nodes and resources. The most valuable feature is the S3 dashboard. It helps in migration, and we can monitor the data for at least three months."
"It allows us to directly add individual VMs independently."
"I found PRTG Network Monitor very useful for troubleshooting and monitoring the utilization of either the network or server."
"Nice product with an easy interface to use and a large variety of sensors."

"The most valuable feature of PRTG Network Monitor is its ease of use."
"The Slack integration is fantastic, and I've actually found it to be very useful recently."
"Stable and scalable network monitoring tool. Installation is simple and straightforward."
"The installation process needs to be improved, and the tool needs a better script. Cloudian HyperIQ runs on Docker containers. Sometimes, the file system gets filled. The tool needs to have separate Docker volumes in the installation script. The documentation for reporting needs to be improved. I am not able to generate reports using it. The alert mechanisms also need to be improved. It should integrate with AI and give more metrics to be taken up next year. We can show the response peak as an improvement to our leadership."
"We're using more cloud services now. It would be useful to be able to get information back from these cloud services in detail, and display any issues within PRTG for the rest of our systems."
"This solution is a good product so far, but I haven't been using it long enough to know how it could be improved."
"In terms of sensors and probes, it would be really cool if PRTG had a purely Azure-based solution. We had to install a probe on one of our cloud servers and then let that probe out from there. It would be really cool if it just monitored Azure without having to install something on the device."
"There is room for improvement in this solution for the performance and third-party monitoring protocols. They need to be updated to the latest ones."
"We have had a few issues with the web elements, as far as the dashboard. With the dashboard, it has to be manually refreshed. Occasionally, we reboot the server, or at least web services, due to the web aspect."
"PRTG Network Monitor is okay to use, but you'll need some time to analyze the data. If it can automatically locate or identify the problem area, it would be more helpful to users."
"Sometimes, our PRTG Network Monitor system crashes and a lot of sensors go down."
"The licensing policy needs more flexibility."
