We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We can manage the entire system across the network and troubleshoot the pain points.""The single dashboard is a valuable feature."

"We don't have to keep an eye on it; it has a good automation option, which keeps us informed. It gives very less false positives. Overall, a really great product.""The features we found most valuable in ManageEngine OpManager are the probe server and reporting because they're pretty good features.""The solution is easy to deploy. It's also easy to manage and monitor the environment. Instead of being reactive, it's proactive.""The traffic monitoring and the traffic analysis are great.""We find the networking aspect of this solution to be the most valuable.""The solution gives pretty good network visibility. I am also impressed with it's monitoring.""The dashboard, versatility and larger horizon are valuable.""Device backups are smooth and managed centrally, with a nice dashboard, so you can quickly see the status."

"The basic setup is very easy.""I really enjoy network traffic triggers that allow us to check traffic threshold from ISP.""We like the user-interface for this solution, which makes it an easy to use tool.""The features I found most valuable are the user interface and a wide range of network devices that are easy to configure.""We use Zabbix to monitor our organization's IT infrastructure and workstations. We don't use Microsoft Intune since it's expensive. The tool's real-time alerting system has proved crucial for us, particularly when a new device joins a network that is not one of our own devices. It notifies us about the presence of this new device, allowing us to investigate further. Additionally, it alerts us about disk usage, memory usage, and the software installed on the machine.""The most valuable features of Zabbix are flexibility and a single interface for different types of monitoring.""Setup was straightforward. Initial deployment took two or three months.""SNMP monitoring, source discovery, and alert triggering are most valuable."

Cons
"The technical support needs improvement.""The Wi-Fi side needs improvement."

More Juniper Mist Premium Analytics Cons →

"The solution is a bit difficult to configure. There are quite a number of configurations and plugins that you must handle early in the process.""There should be an option to get mobile notifications or SMS mirror notifications for critical issues. That way, when we don't have access to email, we can still receive notifications via our phones.""Real user and UI monitoring are not practical.""We had some stability issues at the outset that have since been resolved.""There are certain things that are not possible to do with Op Manager. It's a solution that still needs time to develop.""We get a lot of false alerts.""We would like link monitoring included. At times we need to monitor those specific links closely.""The storage level monitoring needs improvement. It needs storage level monitoring on the server itself. That feature is lacking right now."

More ManageEngine OpManager Cons →

"For us, the initial setup was complex""Zabbix does not draw automatic mapping of the network, this is something they should add in the future. There is a lot of effort that is involved in tailoring some of the settings which could be made easier.""I am having difficulties connecting it to Grafana, as well as some of the other plugins like Kibana.""The solution needs to add remote features.""The solution needs to add features for finding loopholes or problems and their root causes.""The reports are not great and should be improved.""I want Zabbix to improve the UX/UI. Zabbix doesn't use a JavaScript chart for images, and I want them to improve this.""The server monitoring could be better."

I have researched a quite a few network monitoring tools which can be used for various monitoring purposes of not only the servers, but the intermediate routers as well. There are majorly three types of these softwares. Ones which are completely open-source, you can do almost anything you want using these, but they require quite some expertise before you can use them. Then there are the ones that are not open source, the enterprise softwares and cost you some money, but on the other hand, they are extremely easy to set-up and learn. You can have them up and running in a matter of minutes. And then there are those which are completely cloud based. They can be free of cost or charge some money depending on the software. The good thing about these is that you don’t have to install any extra software, and it can be managed completely online but then again these have limited features and you cannot exploit them to the full extent as you can do with the open-source and to some extent the enterprise software, so I won’t suggest you to use these, because these are generally not the complete solutions and require other support software to achieve the same. Below I have listed the outstanding pros and cons of the various Network analyzers that you can look into Nagios Pros: Nagios offers an extensive set of collector plug-ins that allows users to gather performance and availability data from a broad range of operating systems, including  Windows and Netware Nagios… Read more →
