We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of the solution is its storyline, which helps trace an event back to its source, like an email or someone clicking on a link.""Cloud Native Security is a tool that has good monitoring features.""My favorite feature is Storyline.""The agentless vulnerability scanning is great.""PingSafe has a dashboard that can detect the criticality of a particular problem, whether it falls under critical, medium, or low vulnerability.""The multi-cloud support is valuable. They are expanding to different clouds. It is not restricted to only AWS. It allows us to have different clouds on one platform.""PingSafe can integrate all your cloud accounts and resources you create in the AWS account, We have set it up to scan the AWS transfer services, EC2, security groups, and GitHub.""When creating cloud infrastructure, Cloud Native Security evaluates the cloud security parameters and how they will impact the organization's risk. It lets us know whether our security parameter conforms to international industry standards. It alerts us about anything that increases our risk, so we can address those vulnerabilities and prevent attacks."

"We can create alerts that trigger if there is any malicious activity happening in the workflow and these alerts can be retrieved using the query language.""The technical support is very good.""The dashboard is very good. It gives our clients a lot of information and allows them to have a complete overview of the system. Everything is visible in one glance.""The most valuable features of this solution are the remote workforce capabilities and the general experience of the remote workforce.""When we started out, our secure score was pretty low. We adopted some of the recommendations that Security Center set out and we were able to make good progress on improving it. It had been in the low thirties and is now in the upper eighties.""With respect to improving our security posture, it helps us to understand where we are in terms of compliance. We can easily know when we are below the standard because of the scores it calculates.""Microsoft Defender has a lot of features including regulatory compliance and attaching workbooks but the most valuable is the recommendations it provides for each and every resource when we open Microsoft Defender.""The integration with Logic Apps allows for automated responses to incidents."

"I like the conformity and workload security modules. Workload security is all about intrusion detection and prevention. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security has behavioral rules that are auto-populated based on organizational structure. That's one aspect that we liked most.""The security is good.""I really like Trend Vision One - Cloud Security's dashboard.""Trend Vision One - Cloud Security does not utilize a lot of resources which allows our users to keep working even during a scan.""The stability is quite good.""The product helps us understand our environment better.""The most valuable part of Trend Vision One - Cloud Security is its dashboard, as it's simple. It's easy to manage, and you can better control the solution.""The perfect package for all security platforms, providing more than any other endpoint solution."

Cons
"One of our use cases was setting up a firewall for our endpoints, specifically for our remote users... We were hoping to utilize SentinelOne's firewall capabilities, but there were limitations on how many URLs we could implement. Because of those limitations on the number of URLs, we weren't able to utilize that feature in the way we had hoped to.""The alerting system of the product is an area that I look at and sometimes get confused about. I feel the alerting feature needs improvement.""There is room for improvement in the current active licensing model for PingSafe.""The cost has the potential for improvement.""The Kubernetes scanning on the Oracle Cloud needs to be improved. It's on the roadmap. AWS has this capability, but it's unavailable for Oracle Cloud.""PingSafe can be improved by developing a comprehensive set of features that allow for automated workflows.""I export CSV. I cannot export graphs. Restricting it to the CSV format has its own disadvantages. These are all machine IP addresses and information. I cannot change it to the JSON format. The export functionality can be improved.""PingSafe takes four to five hours to detect and highlight an issue, and that time should be reduced."

More SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security Cons →

"It needs to be simplified and made more user-friendly for a non-technical person.""The initial setup is not actually so complex but it feels complex because there are many add-ons. There are many options and my team needs to be aware of all of these changes happening on the backend which is a distraction.""The solution's portal is very easy to use, but there's one key component that is missing when it comes to managing policies. For example, if I've onboarded my server and I need to specify antivirus policies, there's no option to do that on the portal. I will have to go to Intune to deploy them. That is one main aspect that is missing and it's worrisome.""The most significant areas for improvement are in the security of our identity and endpoints and the posture of the cloud environment. Better protection for our cloud users and cloud apps is always welcome.""You cannot create custom use cases.""The solution could improve by being more intuitive and easier to use requiring less technical knowledge.""The overview provides you with good information, but if you want more details, there is a lot more customization to do, which requires knowledge of the other supporting solutions.""Agent features need to be improved. They support agents through Azure Arc or Workbench. Sometimes, we are not able to get correct signals from the machines on which we have installed these agents. We are not able to see how many are currently reporting to Azure Security Center, and how many are currently not reporting. For example, we have 1,000 machines, and we have enrolled 1,000 OMS agents on these machines to collect the log. When I look at the status, even though at some places, it shows that it is connected, but when I actually go and check, I'm not getting any alerts from those. There are some discrepancies on the agent, and the agent features are not up to the mark."

More Microsoft Defender for Cloud Cons →

"Trend Vision One - Cloud Security could improve connections with different types of authentication and user groups concerning cloud services.""One area for improvement in Trend Vision One - Cloud Security is marketing; in particular, Trend Vision should update the marketing documentation. The information needs to be more comprehensive.""Trend Vision One - Cloud Security should address threats automatically without having user input.""The local agent should be able to show more logs. At present, the logs are only available from the web console and not from the local agent.""The pricing can get high.""Documentation on cloud architecture and job architecture would be helpful.""The workbook insights generate a massive list, making it inconvenient to review.""The initial setup can be complex for the inexperienced."

  • "The pricing is fair. It is not inexpensive, and it is also not expensive. When managing a large organization, it is going to be costly, but it meets the business needs. In terms of what is out there on the market, it is fair and comparable to what I have seen, so I do not have any complaints about the cost"
