The antivirus itself is also lightweight. It does not hamper the performance. It is not resource-hungry. It does not impact the overall performance of the device. It is just there, and it is easy to use.

The most valuable feature of Trend Micro Apex One is the virtual patching it provides.

I like One Endpoint Security's playbooks because they make it easier to set rules and policies. You can customize the playbooks and use them in more than one company. If you manage multiple businesses, it's a great way to set separate policies for each group. You can check for vulnerabilities, attacks, bugs, or anything strange. It also allows you to conduct performance analysis.

It is updated automatically without much intervention from our side. We can also get some reports easily.

Device control works well, and the anti-malware updates are also pretty good. Every two or three weeks, you get updates. The frequency of the release of new definitions is quite good. We had peace of mind.

The most valuable features are reporting and where we have the ability to report back and provide information when an item is quarantined or not quarantined.

We have to manually log in to the machines and give them an update command.

It is weak in terms of intelligence. By implementing Trend Micro Apex One, I wanted to see real-life scenarios. I deployed it on 50 clients to check if I could do lateral moments and zero-day exploits. I wanted to check how the zero-day protection works with Trend Micro. It fails with most of them because it is signature-based. They are not looking at the MITRE ATT&CK framework, so with zero-day attacks, it mostly fails.

One of Trend Micro's weaknesses is its high resource utilization.

The console can be better in terms of management and viewing the hierarchy of devices. Currently, setting up the hierarchy OU-wise is a bit cumbersome. It can be made a bit easier. If that can be more user-friendly and easier to manage, it would be great.

The solution can be improved to utilize fewer system resources, like memory and hard disk, during scanning.

I want more options and flexibility when creating rules. I want to set rules that are contingent, like "If this happens, then this, this, and this will happen."

The menus can be more user-friendly or easier. For example, if we want to enable access to the USB ports, it should be more user-friendly. It is not easy. We need to navigate through several menus to be able to give access.

Trend Micro's encryption is not up to the mark. We tried their encryption product, but we did not like it. Encryption was difficult to manage.

The CPU usage when scanning is too high and we have run into bottlenecks were it consumes a lot of CPU time.
