Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The studio design is fine compared to other similar products. There is nothing extraordinary about it, but at the same time, there are not any negatives.""The ability to automate our processes with external plug-ins and zero code is the most valuable feature.""We can quickly adapt to our end users.""The product's most valuable feature is the executor.""The support from the vendor is very good.""Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten...I rate the technical support of the solution a nine out of ten.""The most valuable feature of AutomationEdge is creating accounts.""It helps us with cost optimization and easy implementation."

"I like how it integrates with the Orchestrator and everything works together. There are so many different use cases that we can easily connect through APIs, databases, and user interfaces to automate all kinds of applications.""The ability to use APIs within UiPath is really helpful. The web scraping is really great. It's so easy to use, it's very intuitive, and it's usually pretty consistent. When web pages change you need to update it, but it makes it quick. If you need to do another quick process, it's really easy to get it quickly and set something up. I can just scrape data from a website and save it somewhere.""We have saved steps and time from people doing their jobs because they're not doing all this crazy validation anymore.""We enjoy the constant innovation. It's coming out with new things that we can use and new features all the time.""The speed that in which it can be deployed is something I really like because that cuts down on delivery times. I also like the ease of use. In addition, I like the fact that we can program our own .NET to plug into it and there are APIs for multiple different solutions...""The easy development process is very useful for us.""The user interface guide helps speed up automation development for customers.""We had a cost reduction of approximately 20% in our operations."

Cons
"There are some shortcomings in the product's stability that need improvement.""The ease of use is the main thing on which they really have to focus. If they want to go against the giants, it should be improved in ease of use, and it should be more user-friendly. It would be helpful because everyone should be empowered irrespective of whether they know how to code or not. They should enhance its user interface and make it more intuitive.""The installation process could improve. It was difficult to complete.""AutomationEdge's ecosystem has shortcomings and needs improvement. When we compare AutomationEdge to other RPA tools in our company, we find that it has a very minor online community.""With other automation solutions in the market, we can simulate the process in our notebooks where the solution creates the code for us, but with AutomationEdge we can't do this.""With the solution, customizing software can be time-consuming.""The price of the solution could be improved.""In the future, they should have a similar version for the cloud and on-premises, and the installation should be flawless within few minutes."

More AutomationEdge Cons →

"UiPath's process mining needs to improve a lot. The generated reports are difficult to analyze by ordinary people. Task mining reports are also difficult.""UiPath should offer an on-demand cloud-type model where you can get bots for five minutes, ten minutes, an hour, or whatever duration you need.""The operations need to be improved.""I would like to see more features included in the AI Fabric.""We have had issues with Ingram Micro. It happened that we ordered licenses and we received something else. It takes a relatively long time, two and sometimes even three weeks, after the order until we receive licenses, and clients are sometimes a little bit impatient. This is something that should be accelerated.""A bot that could provide feedback would be nice.""There should be more clarity around the feedback loop along with the auto-update feature when you deploy machine learning packages. They should give some rule-based options so that if the confidence is returned higher than the previous model trained, then it would auto-deploy. If it is less, then it should send you an email rather than auto-deploy.""We would like the RPA app that we developed to fall back to one of our APIs and Visual Studio and have that take off."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The licensing for this solution should have a more competitive pricing model. The price is in the top five of similar products."
  • "If you are looking for a budget solution, you can consider AE. It has all the features. Scaling it is way easier because of the cost itself."
  • "I give the price of the solution a nine out of ten."
  • "Pricing can be made better. Currently, I think the pricing is based on the market. The pricing also depends on the business partners that offer you the solution."
  • "Price-wise, AutomationEdge is pretty affordable, making it not so expensive when you compare this with other tools in the market."
  • "The product is available at the lowest price."
  • More AutomationEdge Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It costs much less and it does much more than the competitors' solutions."
  • "The pricing differs on the requirements. If there is a huge purchase, then we get a discount. There is not a fixed pricing of the product."
  • "If you want to do a demo trial, it is a 30 days free."
  • "The community edition is completely free. Then, people say, "There is nothing to lose, let me try it.""
  • "There are operational benefits in terms of time savings and user satisfaction of not having to do menial, repetitive tasks."
  • "Traditionally, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism are the biggest things competing against UiPath. Those are usually what most of the clients lean towards, if they see a cheaper licensing option. Clients choose UiPath because it's easier to deploy and learn within their teams."
  • "We saw ROI in 15 days."
  • "They give it away in the community edition for free, so I use it at home."
