We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The main feature of Bizagi is the speed to which we can automate processes and how we can modify them without a strong impact on the end users.""Bizagi is simple. It's simple to learn.""With the appropriate governance framework, properly trained business analysts can be empowered to design and build business solutions themselves.""I like all of the features. I like that you can simulate the processes and add the time standard.""This is a free solution that allows us to create quality visualizations for our company.""It can be useful as a tool to improve your communications and the control of your processes. For example, when you have to explain a process to seven or eight stakeholders who think differently as well as have different experiences in different functional departments, it is not easy. Sometimes you are using a lot of technical terms, and other times, you are dealing with management terminology. The visual representation helps you create a better alignment and understanding for different roles and stakeholders of your workforce.""The most valuable feature is the organizational modeling capability.""It is quite a stable solution."

"The pricing model is attractive.""It is a scalable solution...The initial setup was straightforward.""Using the Component Diagram, Visual Paradigm helps with design and control, reusing components.""The solution is the best application for data modeling. It helps to architect business processes. Its best features are pricing and functionality.""The most valuable feature of the Visual Paradigm that I use is process modeling. Additionally, the solution has a complete set of features.""I like the structure. I can see the diagrams and everything I created.""Some of the most valuable features of this process modeling tool are process simulation and process animation.""What I found most valuable in Visual Paradigm is diagramming. I had a great user experience as diagramming in the tool is easy and convenient, even for complex diagrams or models. Visual Paradigm is the perfect tool for me, and I prefer it over Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect. Visual Paradigm is better for collaboration if you consider, for example, versioning, so this is another valuable tool feature that's simple and embedded in the solution. In Visual Paradigm, it's also easy to set up the project with team members and collaborate, and it's also a pro of the tool."

Cons
"Can be difficult for new users.""The performance could use improvement. We couldn't connect the processes to on one file. The performance is an issue for us.""I'm not really satisfied with the reporting aspect.""I think that they could improve their update process. Some of the process mining techniques could be added to Bizagi. I think that they can improve their simulation abilities to include more elements of the BPMN.""The solution needs to make it easier to use RPA products on it. They may need an RPA specific interface. It would be better than having to make an RPA tool to use for viewing. Most of our work is about making RPA tools with the Bizagi, not using Bizagi itself.""The solution's interface could be a bit more user-friendly and I would like to see more integrations with other Office products, not just Office 365.""Bizagi doesn't have integrations with other solutions, such as ERP systems. In the industry and your company, you have a lot of systems with which you need to integrate, but Bizagi doesn't have such integrations, which makes it very difficult. Its scalability can also be improved. It is good for a startup, but when you need something more complex, it is not good.""The product used to have a simulation feature, which I had used quite often. However, it's since been discontinued. It might have originally been a paid feature. It would be nice if they could bring it back and offer it for free."

More Bizagi Cons →

"It's still early for me to comment since I've only been using it for two months, but the responsiveness when diagramming needs to be improved.""Visual Paradigm can improve by having better process mining tools and model integration.""I was looking to generate code from the diagrams, but it was not totally clear how to do it.""The product's versioning capability needs improvement.""Visual Paradigm could improve many aspects. The performance could be better because it can be low. When we have large and complicated models, it has a low speed and many bugs. Sometimes the solution stops and you have to restart Microsoft Windows on your PC. The larger database modeling cannot be done properly, I have to use another solution called SAP PowerDesigner.""The solution can be heavy on resource usage.""For me, what needs improvement in Visual Paradigm is the limited features included in the $99 license, which is the cheapest option. If more features could be included in the cheapest licensing package, Visual Paradigm would be better, especially for businesses that have a limited budget for buying software.""There is room for improvement in the licensing model. I would suggest implementing country-specific pricing, as many other products in India do. This would make Visual Paradigm more affordable and accessible."

  • "You can move between the tiers from month to month so you are not restricted to one pricing model."

  • "Visual Paradigm costs $99 per license. I chose the cheapest option from the pricing list."
  • "Pricing for Visual Paradigm is a four out of five for me. I'm happy with its pricing."
