We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We can write external features and transfer the data using JPIMs securely which has been most valuable.""I would rate my experience with the initial setup a nine out of ten, with ten being easy to set up.""The product has efficient connectors.""If we are working with a service-oriented architecture, as an architect as a baseline, it supports us very well in terms of expandability, and the kind of robustness it brings, especially with its serverless nature is fabulous.""The solution's most valuable feature is the no-code/low-code feature.""The product’s most valuable feature is integration.""It's easy to use, and it's stable.""The product's most valuable feature is scalability."

"The product's integration with PostgreSQL and Jira has been helpful for us. Its performance is good. However, we do not use it for large data sets.""Talend's most valuable feature is its ability to generate code and packages efficiently.""We have multiple use cases for this solution. We integrate with Salesforce, SAP and Oracle databases to build business logic and provide reporting.""I'm very passionate about this solution because if you look at any other tool that costs around $200 - $300,000, like Delphix which costs you a million dollars, Talend is very cheap and is almost is at par with what others can do. There is one thing which Delphix does which Talend cannot do, but overall, I would say apart from that, if you're looking for a solution, you should give it a try.""Talend Data integration has a wide library of connectors."

Cons
"The standard logic app could be simplified. Thats what we would like to see in the next release.""The visual tool that is used to build integration is quite old.""Pricing and handling asynchronous processes are the two main areas that need improvement.""Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could have more customization options for connectors.""There could be more AI features included in the product.""An area for improvement for Azure Logic Apps could be enhancing its ability to handle large datasets. When dealing with extensive data, we often have to use Azure Data Factory, which is mostly limited to scheduled jobs.""The support I have received is mixed because in some cases they are accurate, and in others, it was me doing the groundwork and giving feedback for the agent to finally tell me there is an issue in their larger services.""The scalability could be improved."

More Microsoft Azure Logic Apps Cons →

"Due to using the open-source version of Talend Data Integration, which lacks a scheduler, our current approach involves developing jobs in Talend, exporting them as Java packages, and utilizing an external scheduler, such as Windows Scheduler, to manage the scheduling process.""The tool's technical support needs to be better. It doesn't have a local data center but pushes everything to the cloud. They need to check in with customers to see if they're happy and how well the solutions work. They need to assign a customer success manager for the accounts they sell.""There are no concurrent licenses, they only have seat licenses on cloud. That's the whole challenge. For example, if in any project your headcount increases or decreases, you do not have that concurrence and you have a seat license, you run into challenges because you have to procure a few more licenses for getting the job done.""Sometimes there are bugs which are unidentified and we have to follow-up with the Talend team to resolve them. In a critical situation, it takes time for them to update patches.""The product's setup process could be simpler."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The cost of the solution could be cheaper."
  • "If we are comparing to other public cloud vendors, such as Amazon or Google Cloud platform, I wouldn't say that it's expensive. However, when we're comparing between a host such as GoDaddy or Digital Ocean, then it's a bit on the expensive side."
  • "It's very cheap, but it comes with pluses and minuses. The positive thing is that it's very cheap, but on the other hand, it's extremely hard to tell how much it will cost. At the start of the project, it's almost impossible to tell how many times you will be calling some kind of Logic App function. You cannot state how much of the internet transfer you will use or how much data your will use."
  • "The price of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is inexpensive."
  • "Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could be costly if a user isn't careful. The costs associated with the solution could still be improved."
  • "The product is not cheap. I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
  • "The pricing is not expensive."
  • "The pricing is okay. It's not highly priced. It's in the medium range."
