We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"If there's something that isn't possible, you can write some code and call that code from a Logic App.""I would rate my experience with the initial setup a nine out of ten, with ten being easy to set up.""The solution's best feature is that it is compatible with the cloud and has many connectors and third-party adapters.""I am impressed with the tool's UI and analytics.""It's easy to use, and it's stable.""I like the ability within Logic Apps to design the workbooks through the portal with minimal code.""We can write external features and transfer the data using JPIMs securely which has been most valuable.""It's quite similar to Power Optima, but I use it mainly to integrate with databases, and it works well for that purpose."

"It's a very robust solution and it's very configurable. Before this product we would use an ESB-type of solution which required us to write code and go through a process. We can configure the SEEBURGER solution much more easily, instead of writing code... It can handle large files very well.""One valuable feature is the scalability. We have not had to add processing power or hardware since we installed it. Also, we are able to create and deploy maps to migrate from another EDI platform very quickly.""Another aspect that we employed in the last year-and-a-half has been their CMA platform component, which hooks to the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) front end. We've been able to set up an automatic testing process for our partners.""One of the things that SEEBURGER always touts is their ability to do "any to any" formatting... it doesn't matter if you want to take a CSV file or an XML file or a flat file or a PDF file or a structure EDI file; you can transform it from one format to another - any to any or even to the same format - which is a really nice feature.""We rarely get hanged processes.""SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite is a highly stable solution that offers rich features for our B2B integration.""Among the most important [features] are the BIC 6 Converter and the communication protocols, which have the newer security features for certificates and encryption.""SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) has been good at communicating between two applications, changing formats and using the required protocols... We can have one site communicating in an old FTP or SFTP style, or via file transfer. And with other applications, we could have API or a web service call or some other protocol used to send information."

Cons
"The stability of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is stable. However, we have had some issues in the past. They do resolve issues that arise from new releases.""The only thing is, sometimes, when we need a specific connector, it requires an enterprise or paid version. If it were possible to provide the most commonly used connectors for pulling data from different sources free of cost, that would be really nice.""The solution lacks sufficient connectors.""Standard documents are fine, but in certain situations, when facing specific errors or issues, partners or consumers expect customized solutions rather than just links to existing documents.""It can be a bit challenging to use.""There could be more AI features included in the product.""We wanted to use Microsoft Azure Logic Apps, but we faced a timeout.""The documentation could be better. I think that's the only thing that was causing a normal level of problems. In terms of the documentation, it came from Cosmos DB and an additional product from Microsoft Azure."

More Microsoft Azure Logic Apps Cons →

"The initial setup is not the straightforward. It took couple of months for us to set up.""They have their own private cloud. That's the reason we did not go ahead with managing everything by ourselves or moving into the cloud. They said that they're going to be doing it within the next two years, having access to Azure and AWS. That would be something we would like to see.""There might be some improvements they could make to the portal, but they're not anything that stops me from working.""On the server side, there are a lot of administration and configuration files that you need to go in and do maintenance on. You have to find them in a certain folder so it's very error-prone and it can be a little time consuming unless it's documented. They could pull some of those individual configuration files into the product itself where there's a better user interface for that.""When we got SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS), it was clear that it was going to take more of a technical person. It does take a technically-rooted individual to operate it. It's not something for your everyday guy to do. For what it's doing for us, a dedicated resource is required.""I don't think the scalability of the solution is that great because they have tied the solution to their named nodes and it does not allow scalability like some of the cloud products allow.""In some of the other tools out there in the market, you can create one service and use that service without creating a copy. That kind of capability currently doesn't exist in this solution.""There are some aspects at the front, the actual queries that you use, that could be improved. They're all very minor to be honest."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The cost of the solution could be cheaper."
  • "If we are comparing to other public cloud vendors, such as Amazon or Google Cloud platform, I wouldn't say that it's expensive. However, when we're comparing between a host such as GoDaddy or Digital Ocean, then it's a bit on the expensive side."
  • "It's very cheap, but it comes with pluses and minuses. The positive thing is that it's very cheap, but on the other hand, it's extremely hard to tell how much it will cost. At the start of the project, it's almost impossible to tell how many times you will be calling some kind of Logic App function. You cannot state how much of the internet transfer you will use or how much data your will use."
  • "The price of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is inexpensive."
  • "Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could be costly if a user isn't careful. The costs associated with the solution could still be improved."
  • "The product is not cheap. I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
  • "The pricing is not expensive."
  • "The pricing is okay. It's not highly priced. It's in the medium range."
  • More Microsoft Azure Logic Apps Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The pricing seems to be competitive and the maintenance is standard."
  • "The pricing and licensing is very competitive."
  • "I did a review of other options out there, as we moved into the future and our SAP implementation, that this would be the right solution. It was very comparable to other manage services out there. Thus, there wasn't any clear-cut reason to go in another direction."
  • "The cost of the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) can be considered high. We have elected to have SEEBURGER consulting do the installation. Licensing could also be considered high. However, one would be hard pressed to find another product that does all that this one does."
  • "It has a very goofy pricing model in the sense that they have so many components and it's not very clear what components you require to do your work. When you ask for that, you learn that there's a surcharge for them. It's not that you buy a product and you can use all the compatibilities. They have all these different bits and pieces of it and you have to pay extra for all those things."
  • "Pricing, compared to the tool that we had earlier, is cheaper."
  • "The way they have their licensing structure set up, they have a lot of different modules. For us, we did not really know if we were licensed for certain things or not. We had to reach out to them multiple times to tell them that we were looking for this or that capability. We had to buy licenses for different things at different points in time, not knowing that we could have it bundled initially."
  • "The pricing is cheap. In fact, when I saw the pricing, I thought, "Really? What's the catch?" But the functionality that we get out of it, for the price we pay, is great value."
