We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I like that with Amazon QuickSight, you don't need to install an app to use its services. With other BI tools, you need to install the app, so Amazon QuickSight is better for me in this area.""The product is easy to learn.""The solution's most valuable feature is its flexibility to visualize certain logs.""The most valuable feature of this solution is the user interface.""A valuable feature of Amazon QuickSight is that it's a cloud-native service provided by AWS. As all platforms within my company run on AWS, that's the leverage of Amazon QuickSight. Amazon QuickSight is also easy to use, and I find the native connectors from AWS valuable as well.""Amazon QuickSight can provide insights from the available data. It supports various rule types. We get the options of machine learning and insights, which are not available in other intelligence tools. It is easier to use, more stable, and cheaper than other solutions.""The most valuable feature of Amazon QuickSight is its connectivity with other Amazon services.""It has a lot of valuable features, but the most important aspect is the affordable cost. This solution costs much less in comparison to the competitors like Qlik Sense, Power BI, and Tableau."

"We particularly like the data angling feature of this solution. This gives us the ability to work on data transformations, join files, and carry out other data preparation tasks all in a single tool.""We used it pretty heavily in gathering data, which goes to our VPs. They are able to base their next revenue planning based on this metric. So, it has been invaluable.""The out-of-the-box features are simple and easy to use across the board.""Spotfire is excellent for scientific applications, especially because of its integration with RNG.""The solution is an affordable one.""The most valuable feature is the map visuals that help us connect to the geo-specialized data which is more advanced than other solutions.""It's scalable.""The two features that I have found most valuable are its ability to customize the dashboards when it comes to the evaluation. The second feature is its ability to handle a large amount of data, which is also something very unique about it."

Cons
"The product has some storage and SPICE data issues.""It is a simple tool with limited features. Its visualization set is very limited, and it also has limited functionality. An intelligence tool should not be only for creating reports. Currently, we have to do all computational and mathematical operations outside. We should be able to do such operations in an intelligence tool like this. As an intelligence tool, it should support dynamic refresh. QuickSight currently supports the refresh at a minimum of one hour, and it is not suitable for dynamic dashboards that require frequent refreshes.""I would like to see a feature that allows us to save a draft version before making it public and publishing it.""Right now, you can't use Amazon QuickSight on other cloud providers, so I'd like it to have availability on other cloud providers. This is an area for improvement in the product. What I'd like to see in Amazon QuickSight in the future is a distributed centralized system where I can manage all reports in one place, and for Amazon QuickSight to become reporting as a service.""Compared to Power BI, I felt QuickSight lacks some features, like delayed drill-downs. Drill-downs were the main area where we found QuickSight lacking.""There is room for improvement in terms of the number of visualizations and dashboards that are available.""Amazon QuickSight's visualization could be improved.""One area where Amazon QuickSight could improve is its formatting features for dashboards."

More Amazon QuickSight Cons →

"I would like more easy-to-implement analytical algorithms. At the moment they include things like forecasts and regressions. They need to add a lot more of these types of things to the product because not everyone is a data scientist.""The number of charts available out of the box in Spotfire can be enhanced.""The design of the UI could be improved.""We would like to see some development in the visualization aspect of this solution, as they can currently only be configured in the cloud, which limits us to one endpoint. It would be helpful if this could be integrated with other tools.""Print capability and trigger-based events.""The initial setup of TIBCO Spotfire is in the middle range of difficulty. The initial setup of Power BI is easier.""Compared to competitors, the UI is quite dated.""We encountered difficulties connecting the special data sets, as the post data set did not contain any shared columns, making it difficult to establish a connection between the data sets."
