We performed a comparison between ARIS Process Governance and SAP Signavio Process Manager based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Business Process Management (BPM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Ability to use all the features that your catalog has inside the modeling and export it to a BPM augmentation engine."
"It's a very easy-to-use product."
"Using this solution we can design our own processor governance, assign some specific technical services, and also run tests of the process to make sure it operates as we need it to."
"Version management is helpful because I like to try different versions and then decide which of them should be the main model."
"Process Manager is really helpful in building process maps. Creating them is really easy; the program is user-friendly."
"The collaboration function in the project views is valuable because people can comment on the processes and we can respond."
"One of the most valuable features is ease of use which has really been a good thing to put into the business. People like tools that they can just pick up and use straight-away."
"The features I find most valuable are ease of use and the Collaboration Hub."
"The formatting features are quite good because you can create very complex models, but you can easily clean them up so that they look very nice."
"The collaboration hub is good because it allows us to share the models that we've captured and to get comments back, and we don't all have to be in the same room, it can be remote and over time."
"The fact that the repository is available on the web is the most valuable feature. It's a very simple tool. If you can use something simple and visual, you should be able to use the model as well in Signavio. It has the ability, for example, to track versioning control, so if you make updates to the processes, you have the ability to track the versions as well."
"There is a lot of complexity around licensing."
"The solution uses a coding language for process design that is specific only to this product. We would like to see this changed to something more universal."
"It's a bit annoying that you have to use two environments in the older version."
"The tool's navigation could be improved."
"There are a few bugs when you use the Microsoft Surface Hub with the big screen."
"Being able to integrate the Workflow Accelerator with more products would be good."
"The performance metrics appearing in the collaboration hub needs to be improved."
"Part of the product that I think can improve is document control. That's currently not even possible. To work with documents we have something of a workaround using SharePoint."
"I think the intuitive handling is an issue which they should be more focused on, especially as we have issues with the glossary. If you want to implement Signavio within procedures in contact with other software, it's quite difficult to integrate and you will have several points where you have to double and triple the work, because you cannot maintain the data centrally. With other solutions, we can integrate it and have only one data transfer, to import and export with other solutions. A glossary is still limiting us."
"For us, it would help a lot if this solution had floating licenses."
"The solution is complex."
