We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I particularly appreciate its load-balancing capabilities as it allows us to manage multiple instances and support a global presence effectively.""The price is one of the most important aspects of the product. It's quite affordable.""Rules Engine is a valuable feature.""The most valuable feature is that you can implement resources globally. It does not depend on location and ability or something like that. This is to connect clients around the world.""Has a great application firewall and we like the security.""The web application firewall is a great feature.""It inspects the traffic at the network level before it comes into Azure. We can do SSL offloading, and it can detect abnormalities before the traffic comes into the application. It can be used globally and is easy to set up. It is also quite stable and scalable.""I am impressed with the tool's integrations."

"F5's user-friendly interface and seamless integration stand out as the most valuable features for us.""The valuable features vary from customers to customers. Some customers are okay with the basic features of the WAF, and some customers use advanced WAF with a few other features.""Good dashboard and reporting.""The most valuable features of F5 Advanced WAF are SSL uploading, signature, and anomaly detection. It is overall a high-quality solution.""The most valuable features of F5 Advanced WAF are the overall capabilities, there is not a comparable solution on the market.""There are a lot of good features.""This solution is an enterprise-class firewall that provides both load-balancing and security.""F5 Advanced WAF secures our connectivity and combines both the main functions of WAF (balancing and web application security)."

Cons
"There is room for improvement and they're working on it.""This is a relatively expensive solution.""The product needs to improve its latency.""The user interface needs improvement as it is difficult to create the mapping to link the problem with your private address sources.""There's a limitation on the amount of global rules we can add.""My suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the Data Export feature to include specific tables, particularly the Azure Diagnostics table.""The product's features are limited compared to Cloudflare. The tool also doesn't work well in a hybrid environment. I would like to see a way to add personalized APIs in the system.""It lacks sufficient functionality."

"The Sandbox integration feature could be improved.""For me, an area for improvement in F5 Advanced WAF is the reporting as it isn't so clear. The vendor needs to work on the reporting capability of the solution. What I'd like to see in the next release of F5 Advanced WAF is threat intelligence to protect your web application, particularly having that capability out-of-the-box, and not needing to pay extra for it, similar to what's offered in FortiWeb, for example, any request that originates from a malicious IP will be blocked automatically by FortiWeb. F5 Advanced WAF should have the intelligence for blocking malicious IPs, or automatically blocking threats included in the license, instead of making it an add-on feature that users have to pay for apart from the standard licensing fees.""The deployment side is quite complex.""There is a learning curve that extends the time of implementation.""I would like to see additional controls.""You have to buy another module with an extra license, to have the authentication feature.""The solution's dashboard could be improved. When you're moving from policy to policy, the logs and the integration of the logs in other systems aren't straightforward.""The BNS module needs improvement."
