Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is its reliability and stability. The first version of BizTalk was released in 2000, and many companies still use it. It was stable until 2013 when we had support.""BIzTalk's integration with Visual Studio is the most valuable feature of this product.""We can handle a large number of messages without any issues, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.""The tool's most valuable feature is its integration with the banks. Its messaging and routing capabilities are good.""I rate the tool's stability a nine out of ten.""Essentially, you can do whatever you like with these systems, and you do not have to take care about the scaling because if one server is overloaded, it just forwards the message to the next server, even if it were designated to a specific server. It weeds out the messages according to the load. If you want to scale it, you just add new servers.""The most valuable feature of BizTalk Server is that it will turn XML into flexible transactions."

"Technical support is helpful.""It is very stable. I have been using vCenter Orchestrator from version three now to six plus.""In regards to the workflows, the fact that we can actually have a full dashboard library of all the existing workflows on this is great. We can see all the workflows and what all the actions do and can work with scripts.""The open, flexible architecture has brought in the agile computing environment along with better Dr capabilities. Automation management and operational tasks across VMware and third-party applications, like our HMIS and other business productivity applications, have delivered peace of mind.""The most valuable feature for us is the performance stability of vCenter Orchestrator, especially in complex situations, making it excellent for managing virtual machines.""The backup and recovery times are very quick.""The solution is pretty stable and reliable.""What I like best about vCenter Orchestrator is that it makes life easier through automation. People can request to automate all processes with vCenter Orchestrator, such as adding storage, creating VMs, removing VMs, and extending VMs."

Cons
"BizTalk is in the past, Microsoft is not going to evolve it any further or add any new features.""It's a complex product because you have many degrees of freedom to connect different parts together. Whether it's sensible or not, is up to you, but the machine does allow it. But because of the vast degrees of freedom, it's complex.""BizTalk Server is an outdated legacy system that does not support messaging.""It's an on-premises system, requiring physical servers for deployment. This is different from Azure; you don't need any servers with Azure. If you have a subscription, you can do whatever you want. There are unit restrictions based on the environment (like non-production vs. production) in BizTalk. You need physical servers and databases. In Azure, those are not required – it's all in the cloud.""The product's deployment can be quicker""The deployment could be simplified.""The product could be improved in monitoring, managing, and support functionalities."

"In the next release, to make it easier to write the workflows, I would l like to see more HTML GUIs.""vCenter Orchestrator's debugging capacity could be improved.""The licensing is expensive and should be improved.""There can be compatibility issues.""Mainly VMware integrates with other products, but there is no easy way to link with other products from a different vendor. We can integrate with other products from the same vendors fairly well, but if they could make it so integration is easier with other vendors, that would really help.""I would like to see a greater ability to do mobile administration.""This is an expensive solution.""The cost of the solution is high."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The cost will depend on the client's requirements."
  • "BizTalk Server is cheap. I would rate its pricing a two out of five."
  • "Based on the knowledge, it is relatively cheaper than Azure Identity Services and cloud services in general."
  • "It was not cheap, but it was affordable."

  • "Our licensing is on a yearly basis. We pay for the license and then we pay the support every year."
  • "This solution is expensive and the licensing is more attractive for Haveri."
  • "The price is reasonable, and one of the reasons that this product was selected."
  • "We provide the VMware solution to our clients, for which they pay a perpetual license."
  • "The concept of hyper-convergence is smart. I don't know if it can be applied with less cost to be more affordable for small or medium-sized companies. The cost is a very important factor for it. We are currently depending on SAN storage. However, the hyper-converged solutions are depending on the storage within the hosts, such as vSAN in the VMware. It is a smart solution."
  • "We pay a yearly fee, based on our entries."
  • "The licensing module is somewhat complex. Calculating the cost is complicated. Many of our clients are unclear about the billing system and the traffic metering."
  • "The licensing cost is manageable because they have different versions available, standard, essential, and advanced."
