This enables us to be proactive in providing support and ensures smooth operations for our clients.""We can scale it if we need to.""It offers features that are essential for an efficient and high-performance wireless LAN deployment, where capacity, coverage, and quality are optimized, and frequency bands are selected based on the specific needs of the network.""The after-sales services are helpful.""This solution is extremely user-friendly; it is very easy to configure and work with.""The product is user-friendly and helps with cost minimization."

"What could be improved in Cambium Networks Wireless LAN is its efficiency in large areas because we noticed that there's a need to increase the APs in large rooms or spaces for the Wi-Fi to be more efficient. Another area for improvement in Cambium Networks Wireless LAN is bandwidth management. This is a feature that Meraki has that allows you to control user bandwidth, so my company has a pilot project to test Meraki Wireless LAN. Bandwidth control is an additional feature I'd like to see in Cambium Networks Wireless LAN as that would make the solution better.""Cambium Networks Wireless LAN should improve its pricing.""There is room for improvement in the pricing model.""The product pricing needs improvement.""The solution’s technical support could be faster.""Our areas for improvement would be a refresh with the most recent technology available.""We would like this product to have more information data sheets available. At present we cannot easily access details around the full capability of a piece of equipment.""I believe there's room for improvement in the configuration options for point-to-point setups directly from the cloud management interface. Currently, the process feels a bit clunky—you monitor the unit in the cloud but need to make configuration changes by editing a text file, then downloading it back to the unit. This method can be error-prone, as even a small mistake in the text file could disrupt the unit's configuration."

More Cambium Networks Wireless LAN Cons →

"The product licensing could be improved.""The pricing needs to be more clear and licensing could be less expensive.""While the Virtual SmartZone appliance has improved in the last few years, it isn’t without issue and the performance of the Web page leaves something to be desired.""They have so many products that there are so many different part numbers for the US and other countries. That means it's easy to make a mistake with the licensing. You have to have somebody knowledgeable on the other end with the licensing. If you make one mistake, it can be a $2,000 mistake.""The solution's pricing could be cheaper.""The product is very expensive.""The solution currently lacks the integration of security services.""APs should be more adaptable to denser client regions and, most important, the logs on the ZoneDirector should be classified into groups, such as type of logs and alerts."

  • "High-end products from Cambium PTP, point-to-point radio, maybe cost around $1000 per year."
  • "It's a good price, but not the best price. It's on the higher end of what I would call affordable for small to medium-sized businesses."
  • "The pricing for Cambium Networks Wireless LAN is much cheaper than Meraki. For example, I have to pay $200 for one AP from Cambium, while for a Meraki AP, I have to pay $450 including the user license. Meraki has a higher price over Cambium Networks Wireless LAN."
  • "In general, the way we purchased it was we purchased it at the beginning, was with five years of support, once our initial cost was met, we didn't have to pay for anything else."
  • "The licensing costs for this solution are calculated per asset, and depending on the model of the equipment, it starts at $230, and goes up to roughly $1,200. The benefit of this solution is that there are no hidden costs; no cost for managing the equipment, and no cost for maintaining the equipment during its usable lifetime."
  • "Cambium Networks Wireless LAN is cheaper than Aruba."
  • "I would place it in the mid-range market segment, balancing affordability and profitability."
  • "I rate the product's pricing an eight out of ten."

  • "The cost can be prohibitive for many as it is a high-end product in the WiFi market."
  • "Pricing is very competitive for an enterprise solution. Regarding licensing, always carry the support contract on the controller (not needed on APs)."
  • "It's definitely a good value. It's more expensive than some of the other offerings out there, but when you compare it to other enterprise-class gear, it's very well priced. And the beauty of it is, because it has better range because of their patented BeamFlex - which is the way they can send and receive and listen to signals - you can actually use fewer access points. That means that it's a cheaper overall project."
  • "The only complaint I have about Ruckus is the price, but considering other enterprise WiFi products are similarly priced, I feel Ruckus is a superior product."
  • "The cost per AP license should be worked on."
  • "We found it a little more expensive than the other competitors on the market."
  • "We also looked at Cisco and Aruba but Ruckus pricing was better."
  • ""The biggest adjustment improvement will come from a price adjustment because the price is quite high; it feels like premium pricing. I suggest shaving off 10 percent to 20 percent. That would help grow users and increase the number of clients.""
