Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution has good performance.""It's an ideal gateway solution for small and medium businesses, i.e., around 300 devices can be easily handled."

More Netgate TNSR Pros →

"It is very simple to use. I've used some of the others in the past, such as Cisco AnyConnect, which was a nightmare. I've used a couple of others, but FortiClient is very simple to use.""When the user gets authenticated, I can assign a different VPN or network to each user.""It supports securely connections for VPN users from outside our environment during the lockdown.""Fortinet FortiClient offers a vulnerability test feature, allowing us to monitor end-user devices. This includes ensuring necessary updates, such as Windows updates, are not overlooked.""It works well and the performance is good.""It is a scalable product.""From my perspective as an end user, it's consistently stable, and I would rate the stability as a nine out of ten.""FortiClient is very easy, useful, and practical."

More Fortinet FortiClient Pros →

"It is a stable solution...The initial setup of the product is very easy.""The platform is easy to use.""Sangfor SSL VPN is a secure and user-friendly solution.""The most valuable feature is our ability to limit access by user, IP address, or MAC address.""Sangfor SSL VPN provides secure encryption for communication."

Cons
"There must be a more easy-to-use GUI."

More Netgate TNSR Cons →

"With the lower-end licenses, it tends to kick you out after eight hours. There is a function where it automatically kicks you out after eight hours. They could improve that and not kick you out after eight hours. Other than that, it is already pretty good.""Technical support needs to determine priority level based on the cases rather than the support package bundle.""We've had some problems with having to remove the current version and either reinstalling an old version or updating to the new one.""The tool needs to improve its web filtering feature. Its support quality needs improvement. We speak different languages, and this can create misunderstandings.""The licensing feature of the product requires improvement since whenever the license expires, the tool logs out its users automatically, irrespective of whether they are on the network or not, which can be problematic for me.""We've got one client where it was blocking the smartphones, and there's a way to set it up on Fortigate that's supposed to do that. However, it didn't work with them since they had a 2FA multi-factor.""I would like for the next release to be more user-friendly for users to do not have as much of a technical background.""I don't think FortiClient is bad, but it's very buggy. We ran into some issues with the EMS, which amounted to more than 10 cases last year."

More Fortinet FortiClient Cons →

"In redundancy mode, when the firewall goes off, the VPN should be able to connect to the secondary firewall automatically.""Sangfor SSL VPN should provide advanced protection against ransomware and better data analysis.""No solution is perfect, so there is room for improvement.""I think Sangfor can provide a web-based SSL VPN version.""The technical support team takes around two months to respond to queries. It is very time-consuming."
