Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the Infor GL tool that allows us to do our application support and development.""M3 has several useful features for managing supply chains, production, and customer orders. It's an excellent system that helps me meet all my requirements for fixed costs.""The product's initial setup phase is easy.""The most valuable feature is the ability to cover different types of activities, and the requirement for maintenance and data is very low.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is highly customizable.""Infor comes up with different tools every year, and they are all compatible with Infor M3, which makes it a more reliable and trustworthy tool. The integration is very smooth.""provides all modules, supply chain, HR - it's good for management.""It's very stable, and it handles all types of industrial and manufacturing businesses in very good ways. I've found it to be easy."

"NetSuite is a better value than some competing solutions. The fee structure is simpler, and other ERP solutions don't offer as many options for configuration.""The inventory feature in NetSuite ERP is very valuable to me because it provides clear estimates about the depreciation of details and includes useful mobile modules.""NetSuite ERP is good for a trading company that involves buying and selling.""The most valuable feature is that it works according to how the Internet works.""I have found there to be many features, such as manufacturing, accounting, financials, inventory, and purchasing.""NetSuite ERP is a user-friendly cloud-based solution that posts into the GL in real time. Cons
"It would be great if Infor added some new workflows in the finance module. I'd also like to see better integration with third-party applications.""The solution's technical support is an area with shortcomings that need improvement, especially the support for the product named M3 rather than the support offered by Infor as an organization.""An area for improvement in Infor M3 is training. There should be more training resources available for clients. Clients also find it challenging to get consultants or integrators for Infor M3. The product doesn't have enough resources in the market to help clients.""The solution must provide more learning documents.""We can't make modifications to fit the client's requirements.""The product's technical support has certain shortcomings. Sometimes, my company doesn't get a proper response from their end.""I would like to have some kind of dashboard to show an overview of different data on the same dashboard or on the same screen instead of moving to BI.""The solution is stable but not agile."

More Infor M3 Cons →

"As with any system offering large volumes of data, there are limitations on processing large volumes of data in custom ways.""In terms of the main improvement to NetSuite is the talent itself. It's grown so fast and there are about 25,000 companies running on it, and it's a relatively newer system compared to other competitors. It's growing so fast that the talent base in the partner organization (there's about 200 of them), is pretty thin.""The manufacturing and planning side could be improved. That part isn't up to date. NetSuite could be easier to integrate in general.""The areas that this product needs to improve on is the implementation and inventory processes.""If you do go through an implementor, you need to be careful that they are actual implementors and not just resellers.""Many features such as local taxation and fund management are not there yet.""I would like to see improved customization options in NetSuite ERP, possibly through generative modules, to enhance flexibility and efficiency.""There is a lot of room for improvement. Multiple manufacturing features need to be updated on NetSuite. More functionalities need to be added. I think there are a lot of functionalities coming out for warehouse management systems and manufacturing automation via advanced manufacturing functionalities. I think they need to improve a little more on those aspects and make it easier on the scheduling aspect."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "There is a yearly licensing cost. The price is based on the modules you need. There are several modules, such as HR module, accounting module, sales module, scheduling module, etc., and the price will vary depending on the number of modules you choose. The customers always say that it's very expensive. It can cost a lot of money if your organization is huge. It's not implemented in a lot of organizations in my country because it's too expensive."
  • "Infor M3 is a tier-two product and is cheaper than tier-one products such as SAP and Oracle. However, it is more expensive than some other tier-two products. The licensing cost is dependent on the number of users. Also, if you purchase other tools from Infor as a package, then there may be other discounts offered."
  • "The cost is between $50 and $100 per user annually."
  • "I'm not part of the team that manages Infor M3 pricing, but it depends on the client, integration, ship-out, and training levels. You get the price from the solution provider, but it would be best to discuss it because nothing is set in stone regarding pricing."
  • "If you compare Infor M3 to SAP, Infor M3 is less expensive than SAP, but if you compare Infor M3 to Dynamics 365, Infor M3 is more expensive. It also depends on the model that you buy. It depends on whether you have the complete package or whether you have separate models."
  • "The tool’s licensing is yearly."

  • "I would advise that you first meet with and scope out your project with a NetSuite VAR (Value Added Reseller)."
  • "When people buy ERP, it's a competitive situation and the pricing is paramount."
  • "It is completely on a subscription basis. We pay yearly and, and you do not have to do anything on a monthly basis. Prices depend on the organization's scale and all those things, but they are doing a good job with the pricing."
  • "There is an annual license required to use this solution."
  • "The price of the solution is quite high."
  • "NetSuite ERP has a cost per module you want to use, and then you have the license per user."
  • "Pricing for NetSuite ERP is okay, but it could be better. The licensing model for NetSuite ERP is based on the number of modules and users. The standard license covers up to twenty-five users. If you have more than twenty-five users, you'll have to buy the premium license, which would double the price. For one module with five user licenses, the cost is between $40,000 to $50,000."
  • "It's very competitively priced due to it being a subscription model. So, clients are quite happy with the pricing. I would rate it an eight out of ten in terms of pricing."
