We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution changes the way clients work to make it easier and faster.""Previously, my clients used a smaller ERP system, not a major one. However, they have now transitioned to Oracle, which provides them with a more extensive range of options. Unlike before, it's now an integrated system that covers various aspects, including finance, supply chain management, and other functionalities.""The product's most valuable feature is an efficient fusion of finance and HR modules.""Stable and scalable with good technical support.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that a company can maintain all of its HR data without any issues.""The service management features are valuable.""Oracle Cloud Services integrates well. It has lots of APIs to integrate with other solutions, like the PBX we use from Cisco. The ability to integrate Siebel data with Cisco PBX was nice.""Oracle's strength lies in swiftly building and deploying enterprise applications globally."

"I would rate Salesforce Sales Cloud's scalability as very good. We have scaled from 30 to 150 within three years without a glitch.""This solution offers a good user experience. It is easy to learn and use, even for those who are using it for the first time.""The product is very fast and responsive. There's no lag time when you are on the platform.""I can see activity per customer. I can find out quickly and easily who was the last person I talked to, when it was, and what we were talking about.""It is a very stable solution.""Salesforce Sales Cloud is very user-friendly, and simple to create dashboards and extract the reports. Additionally, it integrates well with other applications.""The user interface is pretty simple.""The reporting features are useful."

Cons
"One suggestion I have is to shorten the IT team's response time. When we submit an ASR or similar request, it takes a while to receive a response, and this can be seen as a drawback.""We built some custom code to make a few functions easier. Oracle needs to look at what the customers do and integrate them into the product.""The vendor must provide a user-friendly mobile application.""The solution’s reporting could be improved.""The product must provide modules for operations management.""The dependency on the dollar makes these products more costly during disruptions in currency parity, especially in countries like Pakistan.""The UI experience needs refinement to enhance user-friendliness.""The product's option to upload payroll data doesn't work seamlessly."

"The deployment of data from the development environment to production is also a weaker point because their solution is not powerful.""It is very clunky. Its interface can be more user-friendly. There is always way too much information going on in Salesforce. It puts too much on your screen. It gives you every piece of information in the world, whereas I need less. It would be nice for it to be cleaned up a bit.""We have a very broad set of products at our company. The process to get that information accurately into the Sales Cloud system could use improvement. It shouldn't take weeks of time. The process of identifying products that are being sold for forecasting purposes and sales tracking purposes is too hard.""The setup of Salesforce Sales Cloud is complex. You need specialists in that area to be able to have a good setup. Once it's set up properly, running it is seamless. That's the most beautiful thing about Salesforce Sales Cloud.""The reporting formats could be better.""Sometimes, it is difficult to integrate it with my emails. I've had trouble integrating it with my emails. There were a couple of things I did try as well, but I wasn't able to do so. I've had difficulty in other areas too with integration. It was related to syncing my calendars. I want the tasks that I put in to automatically sync to my calendars and update my calendars, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.""The high price of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required.""Sales Cloud could be improved with more training. In general, the training is very good, but you have to really seek out some good options in order to upskill yourself. Another thing, which could also be a benefit, is that Sales is very customizable. If you move from one organization to another, you can see your Salesforce as before, but their Sales Cloud may look completely different from what you're used to. It's not like Microsoft Excel or Trello, where the layout and all the functions are the same. Because it's so customizable, I feel like there is a bit of a learning curve when you inherit another Sales Cloud instance. To be honest, I think that's the beauty of Salesforce because you can customize it so much to fit your needs as a company. It follows your processes and use cases in order for you to get the most out of the system itself."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "This is definitely an expensive product compared to others on the market."
  • "Licensing fees are on the higher end and I rate them an eight out of ten."
  • "Oracle's pricing is quite high, and this cost can be a significant barrier, especially for smaller companies."
  • "Oracle Fusion Service is more expensive than Workday."
  • "There are no extra licenses, everything is included in the subscription, and the price is fixed."
  • "The product has average pricing."
  • "Oracle Fusion Service is a cheap and flexible solution."
  • "The tool is reasonably priced."
  • More Oracle Fusion Service Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The subscription is on a monthly basis."
  • "The main issue is the price. Because it's SaaS, you will have to pay on a monthly or yearly basis."
  • "It is a premium product, so it is not the cheapest solution. I think if it's implemented well, and you're getting the soft cost benefits, the efficiencies, it's justified. But not if you're looking at just apples for apples as a subscription, without the complexity that you can achieve. It can deal with complex business requirements. Some other CRMs can't. But you certainly pay, so it's a premium-charged solution. It's one of the more expensive ones."
  • "I have found Salesforce Sales Cloud to be expensive. However, it is the number one CRM solution in the world. It is worth the money."
  • "The main thing is it is costly. Salesforce it is not cheap, it's costly. Some of our customers say it is a costly solution. So, we have lost some sale opportunities regarding the high price. This is the main thing that we are facing. It is sales per user and the user price is about $150 per month, per user for the Enterprise Edition. The other edition is less than this, but it is costly. A company that has 70 or 80 users would pay more than $8,000 USD yearly because it is cloud based."
  • "My understanding is that Salesforce is a little bit expensive, but in terms of the efficiencies, automation, and visibility, I think it's definitely value for money."
  • "Implementation and add-ons may be additional costs."
  • "Being license based, the license varies by type. The pricing is considered average."
