Hi dear community members,
Currently, I'm researching Data Governance tools and I need your help.
What are the overall differences between Collibra Governance and Alation Data Catalog and how would you decide which one to choose?
Thank you!
Hello,
it very much depends on the scope and scale of your data governance project or program.
Alation is faster to implement, Collibra is more comprehensive.
Each has some clear advantages. Think of Alation as a Ferrari, Collibra is a Limousine.
They are both excellent tools. From my standpoint, I suggest you also consider Ataccama solutions.
I can help break the details down if interested in those solutions.
Regards.
Luca
