We performed a comparison between Cisco Meraki Systems Manager (MDM+EMM) and Scalefusion based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."I haven't used other mobile device management solutions, but compared to SCCM, we eliminate a lot of on-premises infrastructure and maintenance by using Intune."
"I like how Microsoft Intune lets me lock down the email profile and make it accessible only on certain devices."
"It is very easy to use. It has a very easy interface."
"The overall user experience is quite nice. I have no complaints from end users regarding their devices enrolled in Intune."
"It's normally able to meet 100% expectations of our customers."
"The dashboards, the security, and the customization capabilities work very well for us."
"We have one MDM that works with Windows, iOS, and Android."
"The most valuable feature is probably mobile device management. Small businesses are coming under greater scrutiny and requirements for compliance as time goes on. We don't have to worry about a VPN because we can manage these devices, control company data, and lock users out. If needed, we can remotely wipe devices and deadman-switch them."
"We use this solution for MDM."
"The UI is easy to learn."
"It’s helped us manage our endpoints."
"The cloud dashboard's analytics data is particularly valuable, giving me insights into user activities and making it easy to track and manage devices."
"Security is the main feature because the company is reliable."
"The most valuable features include remote inventory analysis, security features like geofencing, and software distribution."
"The best features of Cisco Meraki Systems Manager include its simplicity and ease of use. It is straightforward to set up and manage devices compared to other products."
"The most significant benefit is that the deployment is quick and painless. You don't need a specialized IT department to implement and scale the network. It's easy to maintain, too. It only requires one or two network administrators."
"Scalefusion is easy to use, and they have a broad knowledge base, so you can quickly find answers if you're unsure how to do something. The articles on the knowledge base are well-written, with clear steps on what to do for a specific scenario. That part is well documented."
"The solution can have some compliance problems in general and the end-point user can bypass easily the company policies in Intune."
"An area for improvement is the absence of seamless integration, particularly with external dashboards."
"The add-ons must be integrated into the solution."
"There is still a gap between SCCM and Intune, especially in the reporting, inventory, and software deployment areas."
"Intune has some limitations when it comes to application updates for third-party applications. You can schedule an update, but when it's a package setup, you need to supercede and replace it each time."
"No option to do end-to-en macOS management. Slow implementation of policies."
"Once it's configured it is unobtrusive, but it does take some hands-on to configure and deploy it properly."
"We need the capabilities of the Cloud Management Gateway (CMG) to be enhanced through Intune instead of Azure."
"We've really only experimented with their iOS client. This is due to the fact that their Windows client has a lot to be desired. We first tried experimenting with the Windows one but very quickly determined that it wasn't going to cut it for most Windows cases. The Windows portion of this product needs improvement. I'd say that it's not really viable."
"Sometimes, the integrations are a bit tough."
"It doesn't seem to be able to establish some VPN tunnels with other devices in a particular way that such as an ASA can do for us."
"They need to allocate more energy in terms of their offering to devices that are not Apple devices."
"Integration with other tools, such as, ConnectWise Automate."
"I've participated in numerous product launches primarily focused on HP and Dell. Consequently, there should be a vested interest in local gatherings to showcase product advantages and performance. Particularly in Singapore, it only has so limited integrators to engage in IP product sales. There's room for improvement through dedicated workshops and training. The European and Western markets differ significantly from the context here. The physical location holds more importance. Thus, they should have a survey to evaluate demand, supply, and sales points, tailoring strategies accordingly."
"The price could be better."
"There is room for improvement in terms of pricing."
"It could be easier to put devices on the blocklist. I would like the ability to block a device with a click of a button. Currently, we have to sift through different groups to block a device. It would be nice if Scalefusion allowed me to block without moving the device to a different profile. Another helpful feature they could add is the ability to migrate from one MDM to another. I'd also appreciate more extensive cloud storage. They give you 1 GB by default, but sometimes that's not enough."
