We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It has a very intuitive user interface, which every user able to manage the basic functionality of a PC will be able to work with and produce quite satisfactory results.""Confluence can link any ticket or task from JIRA to be included on the Confluence page.""The scalability is enough for our use cases. It covers all our needs.""The search functionality is a really powerful feature.""What I find the most valuable about Confluence is how easy it is to use.""I love the reports and the Confluence board.""The trial stages, the ability to connect it to Jira, and the ability to export in PDF are all good capabilities.""It's extremely intuitive."

"The interface is very good.""The most valuable feature of Box is security.""Box is very realistic when it comes to sharing capabilities.""Using Box for cloud storage allows us to focus on the service and maintaining infrastructure.""Sharing and collaborating across files and folders has been a massive game changer.""The solution is scalable.""Box is very user-friendly; more so than SharePoint.""It is really easy to load files to and from this solution."

Cons
"Space maintenance could be made a little more user-friendly.""Some macros can be technical, and they are better managed on the Confluence cloud rather than on-premises. For example, when you add an image on the cloud, you can resize it just by using the mouse. This is not the case on-premises yet. You have to write pixels of the size of the image sometimes. Some of the very old macros are still there, and some of them are technical. It can be hard for users if they are not from an IT background to understand how to use them quickly.""There could be an option to collaborate with other users while editing the documents.""When we import the data in Confluence from Word or any other document, the formatting is not correct.""Managing user permissions and credentials could be easier.""There is room for improvement in maybe the tree structure for articles. If you have a lot of articles, it becomes difficult to navigate.""Confluence could incorporate stronger records management and automation features. The current management structure is too open, which becomes an issue.""I would like to see more macros provided by the company included in the license."

More Atlassian Confluence Cons →

"I would love to see the ability to invite collaborators extended to a file level, not just the folder level.""With OneDrive, you can continuously save your files over a Box folder. That is something I wish we could have.""The solution's data security should be improved.""Maturity of the enterprise security around user management.""Tasks and comments could be easier to see, report, search, and manage.""Better integration with other solutions is needed.""The UI should be faster. Sometimes it lags when switching between documents.""If you want to delete something in Box, you have to do it manually, one by one. That was my recent experience. They might have a bulk delete, but I could not find that option. If you want to delete something, you have to go to each and every file and delete it."
