"In terms of scalability, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops have a lot of technologies baked in there that allow an organization to scale up or down, as required. Further, leveraging Azure for scalability has added value to our organization. For example, pre-COVID-19, we had very few resources in Azure. We had some Virtual Desktops and no application servers. When COVID-19 came along, we knew people were going to be home. We knew that we had to ramp up very quickly. We fully leveraged MCS to be able to scale. Being able to take a single image and build 400,000 Virtual Desktops, all within minutes, was second to none in terms of any other technology out there that we could have used. The scalability to be able to do that in Azure, where we really don't have to worry about storage and compute power because Microsoft does that for us, was fantastic. It was almost like giving our environments steroids. It has been amazing in terms of that scalability. Now, as people start coming back to the office, we can just as quickly scale down so the compute and resource costs in Azure aren't so great anymore.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that it supports team clients.""I use Citrix DaaS to connect to devices.""It has the best remote working features.""You can connect to any printer, and from anywhere you can print documents using a compressed channel. "Being able to reboot computers into safe mode, when needed. That has come in handy in regards to IT troubleshooting.""The time it takes to troubleshoot one of our users is cut significantly.""They've thought of everything in terms of features. It's got all the little drill-down details and capabilities to apply patches and other stuff like that. I don't use everything they offer but you can go wherever you want to take this tool. It's been around for a really long time. We try as much as possible to train our staff to take care of their own systems and train our customer staff to take care of their own systems. There's a little laser pointer feature that you can pull up on the screen and say, "No, over here, click on this." That's very educational. It's a simple thing but when you're trying to get people to take responsibility and learn to take care of their own infrastructure, being able to just point at something while you're viewing their screen, as well as, take over their screen, is very valuable.""Ability to save a permanent remote connection, hold, and/or transfer.""Instead of trying to walk-through a user on how to fix their computer, we just log in, do it, and move on to the next case.""Being able to transfer files quickly and easily via the remote file manager.""The multiple connect methods really help with users who are not tech savvy or knowledgeable about their own computers.""Customer satisfaction went up by 40 percent and productivity for my staff went up by 30 percent."

"The sales team does not focus on client needs but instead focuses on selling higher-priced items.""Where improvement could be driven is in terms of clarity as to the functionality of some of the solutions. If you go back to the older Citrix Xen products that we had, we understood those really well. As we've come into the new workstation premium suite, there is a lot of additional functionality that we perhaps have not yet fully exploited. It is not because we can't, but simply because we don't yet understand the depth of functionality that's offered.""Direct connection of USB devices on the terminals to be used by streamed applications is very important for printing and the usage of token authentication, but the current version does not support this one hundred percent.""Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is a complex solution.""My only issue with Citrix is that they frequently rebrand their products. I'm using the app and everything is fine but after a couple of years, it's entirely different. There were an enormous number of Citrix tools readily available. My immediate concern was selecting the correct ones.""We encounter compatibility issues related to hardware, scanners, and other devices.""Tech support can be slow if you do not receive help from the US representatives.""The Endpoint Management solution needs improvement when it comes to mobile device management. "The billing team was poor when fixing their billing mistake and customer service was missing in action.""We are currently supporting Linux, but there are certain limitations. We are currently working on improving Linux support and addressing certain limitations in the roadmap.""You should be able to remote on an iPhone like you remote on an Android. It is not the same experience. Unless you are very savvy on iOS, you are pretty much lost.​""The solution’s pricing could be improved.""​The interface is not ​user-friendly.
