"I am impressed with the product's security.""Functions well and has good features.""Since the solution works with Terraform, it makes Infrastructure as Code (IaC) easier.""Scalability-wise, it is an easy solution to scale up. I rate the solution's scalability a ten out of ten.""We do not need to maintain the hardware.""The solution is stable.""The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is easy to use.""The solution's speed, processing power, and user functionality are some of its most valuable features."

"The most valuable features of Zscaler Private Access are its ability to integrate with multiple IDPs and application segmentation.""The most valuable feature is the manageability of the micro tunnels.""The most valuable feature of Zscaler Private Access is we do not have to connect to a VPN, it is seamless. It is more convenient for us because we use one agent to cover the internet and VPN access.""The most valuable feature is its ability to establish connectivity for remote users and remote endpoints. It offers a high level of granularity compared to typical VPNs, which also encapsulate a lot of I/O.""The most valuable features of this solution are the CASB solutions, which is protecting their Office 365.""Yes, it is very stable. I have never seen it go down, not once.""It is a stable solution.""Sandboxing, DLP, and SSL inspection engine are the most valuable features of Zscaler SASE."

Cons
"The tool's grouping option layout and cost are areas of concern where improvements are required.""The solution's security should be improved.""People who don't have experience in IT may find the tool challenging. It needs to improve its pricing.""The product is expensive. Its price needs improvement.""It is an expensive solution, so I would like its price to be improved.""We have some challenges related to purging the data. We get a lot of data on a daily basis that has to be refreshed on the site, but we are seeing some challenges with that. They can also include some third-party integration. We have one Akamai dependency. If they can come up with some API to talk to Akamai, it would be good.""The solution's AI integration could be improved.""The solution is quite expensive."

"The menu for the ZIA portal could be organized a little bit differently. The most-used modules should be at the top of the menus, not somewhere near the bottom, some of them are not organized well in my opinion.""What could be improved in Zscaler Private Access is its notification. For example, if there's a speed issue, there should be a pop-up that alerts the user about it. If there is a network quality issue, for example, it isn't good enough to connect to, or the network quality is bad, there should be a notification from the solution. Zscaler Private Access also needs improvement in terms of its interface and security.""I can't speak to any missing features.""While Zscaler supports client-initiated connections, it does not support server-initiated connections. This is a feature that Zscaler may consider adding in the future.""We faced certain migration and implementation challenges in executing the tasks, so I would suggest improvement related to the stability of the solution.""SCMP support would be one of the biggest improvements in my opinion. More speed improvements are also required.""Zscaler Private Access needs to improve its collaboration with applications without compromising security.""It has massive room for improvement. The Zscaler product itself is okay, but it doesn't give enough granularity for us as an organization to stipulate rules or processes, especially for data-driven services. For instance, we can stick on SSL inspection, but it's just a click box. It doesn't allow us to go any further into the detail of the SSL inspection. We also can't pull it out without having an additional logging server. It just doesn't give us enough granularity. They should give us more control over the interfaces because it is all backend. They weren't very open to discussing their backend architecture with us in terms of their own data centers. They can maybe a little bit more open about what components are there and how the backend infrastructure works alongside Zscaler. Its licensing can be better. Some of the additional licensing costs are quite high, and they should have certain features ready and available as a baseline rather than having to purchase additional licenses for it. Their support should also be improved. I initially had a consultant from Zscaler for its deployment, but the support that I had throughout the deployment of the project wasn't the best."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "I think that the cost is metered based on the data, but I don't have the details."
  • "Its price is good. For each server, we are saving $300 a month. We have at least thousands of servers. It is a huge cost reduction for us."
  • "The customer purchases an annually sponsored license."
  • "I think the price of Google Cloud Platform is reasonable. However, Microsoft is the most cost-effective solution for us because of Azure's integration. And we already have licenses for Windows Server and the databases, so the price is attractive."
  • "When comparing the price of GCP to other solutions it provides more value for the money."
  • "The licensing costs us $100,000 so pricing could be better."
  • "It is expensive to scale up the solution."
  • "The solution is inexpensive for personal use."

  • "It has been relatively reasonable for what it does. Some of the additional license costs based on the advanced next-generation firewall functions are quite high, and they should have certain features ready and available as a baseline rather than having to purchase additional licenses for it. Overall, the cost seems reasonable."
  • "Pricing for Zscaler Private Access is moderate. It's acceptable, though I can't give you the exact price currently. It's not too expensive, and on a scale of one to five, I would rate it a four out of five in terms of pricing."
  • "The pricing is expensive and on the higher end. Honestly, in my opinion, it is not worth the price."
  • "The cost is expensive. It depends on the number of users."
  • "My company is a Zscaler Private Access partner, so the customers pay for the license fees."
  • "The price is competitive."
  • "In terms of market positioning, I would describe Zscaler Private Access as offering optimal pricing. Based on our experience, Cato Networks tends to be slightly more expensive."
  • "Zscaler Private Access is extremely expensive."
