We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Even if you lose your laptop or device, your data will still be accessible on Google Drive Enterprise. Therefore, keeping your files on the tool is a safe option. You can access it from any device if you have a Gmail account. When you create a Gmail account, you automatically get access to free Google resources, including 15 GB of Google Drive Enterprise storage, which is shared across all Google products.""Low maintenance solution.""Though I don't see a major difference between Google Drive Enterprise and other competitors, I find that the solution is easy to use. You just need to connect to it and upload files and give access to users who need access to the files. It's very easy to manage files and share files on Google Drive Enterprise, and these are its most valuable features.""The stability of Google Drive Enterprise is good.""Google Drive Enterprise is a good product, and it is easy to use.""It allows multiple users to work simultaneously on a document.""Google Drive provides a guarantee that I can retrieve my data anytime.""can create Google Docs links directly in Google Drive and choose whether to give edit or view access. As the owner of the link, I like that flexibility."

"Most of our customers are very fond of the upgraded smart user interface.""Being able to search is valuable. Its search is pretty powerful. We are able to search for specific text, and it points us to the document that has that text. That is pretty powerful.""The tool's most valuable features are document storage, security, and compliance.""Simplicity to roll out, features available, customization options.""The solution's automatic document numbering, state management, and process flow are very useful features to go through the full cycle of the document.""OpenText Extended ECM's most valuable features include permissions and security models. I also like the tool's ability to add metadata and use it to categorize information.""Retention is useful. I have been pleased with the search functionality and the extensibility for tying it into integrations with other systems and building workflows on top of it.""It's a very good solution."

Cons
"The free storage amount should improve in Google Drive Enterprise. They only provide a small amount of storage.""It would be helpful if there was a synchronization option that would allow me to synchronize folders or emails with my online repository. That way, any new items added to the folder would automatically be uploaded to the solution, without me having to manually upload them.""The feature for synchronization of data from multiple systems with the same single ID is not happening in Google Drive. This feature should be added. For example, if I have only one single mail ID and I'm using it in a different location to upload different data, this is the challenge. It is happening from one system or one server. The synchronization of data from the local system to Google Drive will not happen if the IDs are the same. If I'm using it for different systems in different locations, synchronization is not happening. The system hets logged out. This feature is very important for us and they need to add it.""Security-wise, Google Drive Enterprise needs improvement. Compared to its competitor: Kiteworks, Google Drive Enterprise is less secure.""The product’s document management and automation features are very limited.""If somebody has made changes, for example, there should be a timestamp. Also, if two or three people are working and someone deletes something, a mechanism to retrieve the previous version should be available.""The product lacks customization.""There is really not too much that I think needs to be added to the product to improve it. Some of the features within Sheets could be enhanced so this product is a more complete replacement for Excel."

More Google Drive Enterprise Cons →

"The annotation tool needs improvement. In other tools, such as Hyland OnBase, you can easily do annotation. You can easily merge documents. You can easily compare documents, whereas with OpenText, it seems to be a challenge.""A dashboard with information would be nice to see.""I have not used it enough to start running into issues. Some of my technical guys could name a couple of things, but in terms of support, we did have challenges getting good responses from them.""User interface needs improvement (at least in the version we are using, desktop client).""We are looking for new, advanced UI features. Currently, the UI does not look great.""We had some issues with scalability in the production. So, I would rate it a five out of ten.""There are no additional features that I would like to see. I am pretty happy with it, but their support could be a bit better.""Initially there can be stability issues due to unknown factors such as usage of the system, quantity of documents ingested, load during peak hours."
