We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of the solution is Marvis, the AI-driven network management system.""The AI capabilities of Mist Wireless are superior to other OEMs.""Overall, we've been very pleased with the performance.""The solution is pretty generic and easy to use.""It provides private network access, helping us protect our company’s devices.""With Mist, every Wednesday they roll out new features.""The most valuable feature of Juniper Wireless Access Points (AP Series) is the ability to troubleshoot ports on the network. Additionally, when there is an update on the APs they are able to reboot quickly reducing downtime. Other solutions have a longer downtime when updates are done.""The most useful feature of Juniper Wireless AP is the reporting Marvis."

"We can use an access point to broadcast multiple SSIDs, assign dynamic VLANs, and configure dynamic access control lists (ACLs).""The most valuable thing about Huawei Wireless is that it is one of the cheapest WiFi 6 systems. Its price is very nice. The other WiFi systems cost about 15% more.""The solution offers very good value for money.""The solution is very user-friendly and easy to use.""The most valuable feature of the solution is its simplicity.""That would be more of engineering at this point. I'm from more of the business side. It's pretty much doing the standard installations with portal integrations and integrations with the Mac.""Installation is easy.""You can add a lot of features, such as cloud, integration with IoT, etc. They have a lot of options available but the top feature is the performance."

"The most useful aspect of Mist AI and Cloud is automation capabilities.""I have a very good experience with the solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""Regarding features, the solution seems to be very intuitive.""The triangulation feature can be used to determine where a person is in relation to the access point.""AI is the most valuable feature.""The AI deployment process involves adding access points and placing them in the designated area. The AI system automatically adjusts channel selection and transmission power without any issues with stability or throughput. It has improved network performance.""If you compare wired versus wireless, it's convenient. You don't need to have one place for connectivity. You can move around and it's easier. Sometimes it's a hassle to work with wires, which is why wireless is so convenient.""The most valuable aspect is that they operate on small microservices, offering numerous open APIs that enhance the value of our Wi-Fi network. This flexibility allows us to optimize various aspects such as workforce planning and occupancy management. The platform is highly open in the market, providing robust APIs for seamless integration with other tools. Currently, we leverage these capabilities at a building site, incorporating IoT sensors to gather data. The collected data is stored in a centralized location, and we plan to use AI for analysis. This analysis will include insights on peak activity times, humidity levels, temperature variations, and other relevant metrics within the building."

Cons
"Juniper Wireless AP can improve by continually improving its reporting and integration with other systems.""The price could be better.""They should include SD-WAN features to it.""The pricing is very high in the Indian market.""The pricing should be made cheaper.""Improvement is needed in the user-friendliness of Juniper Mist, particularly in enhancing the interaction with AI features.""There is room for improvement in terms of support and installation.""Enrolling into the tool is a tedious process."

"The demo program is an area for improvement in Huawei Wireless as it's hard to use. As a partner, you can use the solution for free, for thirty days, for example. On paper, everything looks fine, but you have to get permission and explain why you want to download the software, even if it's just for demo purposes. I don't get why I have to do this as a partner and still give an explanation that this would be for a demo setup. Downloading the solution isn't a click-and-install process that should go smoothly and efficiently. You have to get a lot of approvals and explain a lot, and in the end, you find out that you received the approval for one piece of software. It looks like you need additional software to use the software. My company asked for approval and received the approval three days later, but you need to install another software to use some of the features. In the past, most features were separate. Because Huawei wants a single pane of glass where all features should work with the Huawei equipment, Huawei decided to combine everything into the iMaster NCE Campus, which incorporates every other cloud solution. However, you still have to ask for approval for every piece of software, and without clear information on the features, the type of software, and the software files required, it's not so good from my point of view.""The manageability could be improved.""This solution has issues with bugs and instability.""Cloud integration needs to be improved.""Support could be a bit faster.""While technically proficient, enhancing communication skills would greatly benefit the customer experience.""While I am fine with the current licensing price, I would appreciate it to be more cost-effective.""The ongoing support and ongoing follow-up on customers is an area where the solution lacks."

More Huawei Wireless Cons →

"Mist AI and Cloud should be marketed more and focus on making partners in the industry.""Configuration could be improved.""Mist AI and Cloud should improve its integrations.""The solution has various licensing policies. It will be easy to use if it is an open single license.""There are some technical issues that may require attention""Juniper should integrate all their dashboards instead of having separate dashboards...Since it lacks the integration of dashboards, Juniper needs to improve it.""Mist AI and Cloud need to improve the configuration speed.""In future releases, they need to add some router models. Because currently, it supports only SSR and WAN routers. But adding other routers would be good."

  • "We don't have any control on the pricing. This comes from Huawei in India. Pricing-wise, Huawei is very aggressive and competitive if you compare them to competitors, like Cisco, Aruba, and Ruckus. The Indian Huawei team tells us, "Just pick up the order and design the infrastructure. If there are any pricing challenge, we'll work on that and we will try to match things 100 percent.""
  • "Huawei comes at a cheaper price than competitors like Cisco and Aruba."
  • "It is not monthly. It is a kind of perpetual licensing. We pay once depending on the kind of services we need to deliver. There are no licensing fees."
  • "Its price is very good. This wireless system totally costs about 30,000 euros, and some of the other solutions cost about 45,000 euros. It is a difference of 15,000 euros, which is quite a lot of money."
  • "The price is good for the solution and there is a license required."
  • "It is very cost-effective."
  • "Extras come with a surcharge."

  • "The price of this product is approximately the same as competing products in the market."
  • "The price is about the same compared to other vendors. There is an add-on license, but it's up to you if you want to buy it or not."
  • "The price of Mist AI and Cloud is approximately 20 percent less than competitors, such as Aruba and Cisco. However, Cisco has a lifetime warranty for its solutions."

  • "Depending on the features, I think it's quite reasonably priced, especially considering the facilities of the product."
  • "I rate the pricing a seven on a scale of one to ten, where one is low and ten is high."
  • "The custom licensing is a little bit expensive and I would rate it 7.5 out of 10."
