"The most valuable features of IBM Maximo are the overall power and interface, and there are a lot of different modules that we use that are helpful. Additionally, it's an integrated solution and it has a lot of capabilities."
"The Preventive Maintenance feature, especially in its inspection routines and KPI abilities, is valuable."
"Provides great flexibility."
"Maximo is very stable. We really do not have problem with stability."
"they even thought about different industries, so that if you're in a service industry, if you're in a retail industry, or you're in construction, they have set up some of the initial out-of-the-box setups, so that you have something that looks kind of like your industry. So for me, I'm an accountant consulting. I do not need an Account called "Dental Equipment." It's flexible to fit your industry."
"One of the aspects I appreciate the most is its remarkable user-friendliness."
"QuickBooks Online has improved my organization by offering a vast array of integrations with other products that allow you to improve process efficiencies while keeping the cost of your ERP or accounting software affordable."
"The most valuable feature is its decent accounts payable module. It works pretty well."
"It gave me excellent tracking of my finances."
"QuickBooks is known for its inventory and manufacturing features, it's a versatile accounting software that covers various aspects of financial management."
"It is user-friendly, making it accessible for business owners who often handle their own bookkeeping."
"There are valuable security features including software access security (login password), data backup (getting all transactions and data from the previous bookkeeper), and an audit trail that is available when changes are questioned."
"You can get lost using the application"
"It needs full-service visibility. There are a lot of things that are hard for users to find out. For example, the Service Catalog is not too friendly. You really have to know what you're looking for."
"Although you can create notifications with Maximo, the configuration and options could be improved."
"Initial setup is a longer process because Maximo is bigger and has more processes."
"IBM Maximo can improve the financial support and financial application, to make it more similar to an ERP as opposed to an EAM. Overall they can improve the financial processes."
"It was very slow due to the lagging issues. So that was kind of frustrating, considering how slow it was while functioning."
"Maximo is a big system, so the initial setup is complex."
"There are always ways to improve and make things better."
"The solution's import function can be quite complex and not as smooth. Importing data is a more complex process compared to the straightforward export feature."
"Technical support could be easier to reach."
"The area that I don't use as much is the area about reconciliation with the bank accounts. I do all of that manually. So, the area that they can probably improve upon is just better reconciliation with the bank accounts."
"In terms of expansion, we stopped using QuickBooks POS at some point because you can’t scale. We couldn’t scale to more than 32 locations when the business grew. The scalability, support and price could be improved."
"The reporting in QuickBooks is terrible and there's no flexibility in it. It only has standard reports that you can modify slightly."
"In their journal entries, you cannot use Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable more than once. For example, I owe company "A" $100, so company "A" is Accounts Payable, and I just want to list it one by one by one. If I want to add more companies, say, company "B" with $200, I can't list Accounts Payable in that entry. I would have to just say, company "A", $100, company "B", $200, Accounts Payable, $300." That's a shortcoming of it."
"The customer response team is slow and sometimes causes the user to have a loss."
"While the data protection is commendable, there is room for improvement in the dashboard."
