Pros
"It's enhanced by a subscription billing add-on, to efficiently automate billing and invoicing, particularly due to our substantial customer database.""It is strong in integration.""You can track everything from beginning to end quite easily.""The most valuable feature is the ability to easily update and maintain accurate data across all aspects of our operations.""The stability was reliable.""The fixed assets, payroll, the data module, and user-friendliness are most valuable.""We have gained the capability to control and address various issues within the financial module effectively.""The solution is easy to use and not complicated. Also, it is easy to get trained on. Also, there is good information available on the web. The GP community is quite broad and there are many blogs online."

"I find the tool’s every feature valuable.""I like its modern approach. It is very modern and new technology.""ByDesign's best features are its speed, real-time data, and reporting.""The most valuable features of Business ByDesign are the integration of its modules, analytics, and dashboards.""The most valuable features of SAP Business ByDesign are customer invoicing and cost and revenue, from which I get the data for my project reports.""It has a quick implementation and onboarding of users. Cons
"With payroll, the payroll that they have offers US or Canadian tax. However, here, our tax payments are different from the US and Canada. It is very difficult to put in our tax tables. We need some customization. It should be readily available for any country to use according to their tax implications. The system should know different types of tax regimes around the world so that it can accommodate. It's a little bit rigid on that.""This is now a legacy product, so they're phasing it out over time.""It still can be improved in web-based and build reporting. ""The biggest problem with GP is that it's not cloud based and it doesn't lend itself to subscription licensing. But Microsoft wants everything in the cloud and licensed on a subscription basis.Even tThough GP can be deployed on a cloud server, but basically, it's a Windows based product. It uses the older model and companies purchase the program and pay a 16-18 sixteen- eighteen percent annual renewal fee but Microsoft wants everybody to pay monthly or annual renewal fees on a subscription basis.""As for room for improvement, they have different modules, project and analytical accounting, but it will be good to have that kind of part in the standard package. To have that additional reporting functionality where you can add an attribute or something, which you can report again. So you can analyze the cost by not just natural accounts but also by a project, without having to go through another module edit on top and then the other module edit on top. The more modules you add, sometimes it doesn't work that well. Additionally, it would be easier to have the solution on the cloud. That's our consideration. We are trying to move all our systems to the cloud, and GP is one of them that we are going to move in the next couple of years. I would rate the solution seven or seven point five out of ten.""Many of our customers are migrating to the cloud rather than staying on-premises.""As technology changes, I would say probably in the area of chart up account needs improvement because chart up account is a string. So if they make it more flexible.""What could be improved is the functionality of Dynamics GP because it requires a lot of development by the programmers and the company in order to integrate into a solution."

"I would like the tool’s interface to be better. Currently, we use a client application to access the product. I want that to be replaced with a web version. I would like to improve the tool’s internet availability. I also want the product’s setup to be easier.""SAP Business ByDesign can improve the flexibility and user-friendliness of the reporting during the implementations. Customizing the reports inside the device requires a lot of knowledge and most of the time a developer level is needed. For example, if you want to have a more specific reporting layout.""The solution does not support customization for forms and reports. It's not flexible in case you need some enhancements in business processes.""SAP Business ByDesign is a very vast product, but it has to be a bit more centralized. All the models need to be more centralized for a better experience.""The payroll module of the solution could improve.""With SAP S/4HANA, you can design your release strategy and modify it to include as many people as possible, which is missing in SAP Business ByDesign.""I would say budget controlling needs improvement. I mention this because it does not have all the functionalities that we need in terms of managing the budget.""Scalability is difficult."
